Education B.S., Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Summa Cum Laude, 2016 Industrial Design Experience Green Upward (January 2017- Present) [CEO & Founder] •Developed the Multi-Use Food Bag, which replaces approximately 700 single-use plastic bags over the product’s lifetime. Green Upward bags have kept 1.2 million single-use plastic bags from ending up in oceans and landfills. •Identified market opportunity to build a sustainable product for the growing eco-friendly segment. Developed and executed successful Kickstarter which funded the project. •Brought product designs from initial sketch through final production. •Built a fair trade and eco-friendly supply chain, sourcing organic materials in the USA, delivering to customers globally. Created a user experience design that connected children with their brain activity data using portable EEGs in a meaningful way.
