Accommodation in the region Generally the tourism infrastructure in this area is based on small-medium sized hotel/ and guest houses. Additionally there are some slight variations on the percentages of such business along the three cities. The profile of the accommodations is out from competition with strong existing clusters of high profile such as around the city of Spa. This justifies a demand for shorter trips and a relatively low budget, which is considered a business opportunity for more accessible tourism development. Also camping sites infrastructure is present, however disconnected from the tourism routes for this type of accommodation, except around Eupen.
