RESUME
GOALS It all started with hand drawing. Practicing arts and design since highschool developed an interest towards architecture and landscape design. At first, manifested with hand-drawing, sketching and later on with more complex digital drawing.
MY DREAM IS TO FLY....
abroad
The majority of the infrastructure necessary to have a landscape architecture career, does not exist in Romania, at the moment. Once you graduate a landscape architecture school, you have no real oportunities, but to make your own way.
This was the main reason for exceling and becoming a hard working person to keep up with the european level of landscape planning and design. With unsatiable thirst for 3d visualisation, I bring projects close to reality as possible using the magic of 3d...
Gabriel-Iulian Tトハase
With excellent lidership skills and strong public presentation ability, my strongest desire is to excel in this profession.

The ROMANIAN DREAM
Finding a way in life is not easy. But following your dream once you’ve found your way, it’s even more diffiicult. I have always had an inclination towards drawing which manisfested early on by attending Architecture and Fine Arts High School in my home town.
But only during the faculty years I learned about the importance of urban life and its quality. The planning of most Romanian cities are traffic driven. This creates issues among pedestrians and urban life in general. But we need people more than we need cars.
My dream is to excel; learning not only theory, but practice as well. Understanding what makes a project succesful and gaining experience. This way I will be able to revolutionize the Romanian way of planning approach and thinking regarding the city: make Romanian cities as cities for people.

The spontaneus reed grow, gave the ponds bird habitat charactersitics. It’s total surface is approximately 47 ha. The solution is to design a natural looking public garden where water management has an important role. The concept behind the design is to create quasi natural lakes that are connected in a way that some of the lakes maybe be dried to offer different aethetic effect.

In fact, the garden’s design is based on the researches of Alzheimer disease. It is basically a circuit of remembering from the moment of entering the garden untill leaving it. It’s a public gardea, meaning that it is destinated to all visitors.
The Therapeutic Garden is the only one of this type in the East Region of Romania. (2013)

Apart from the public garden, the deisgn includes treatment and housing facilities. To mark the remembering circuit signal objects were used. In this case a metalic shaped ribbon that acts as a portal and a bench at the same time. The main point of this circuit is the seem as a natural walkabout through the garden finally finding the labirinth garden and at the end of it, and the circular labirinth.

Planning the transforming landscapes
The one thing that Romanian Landscaping lacks is creating a precendent where the green space has priority over built space.

But this decision is very difficult to make, especialy in the current situation where green space do not produce a direct income, only the oxigen we breathe... This project is about planning and pioneering the GreenBelt of Bucharest. But the project is defined by more than just the periphery of Bucharest. The interest is to phisically extend the GreenBelt through a regional cooperation.
This regional cooperation represents planning slow mobility routes that improves the acknowledging of the different types of landscapes: rural landscapes, agricultural landscapes, lakes and ponds landscapes, forest landscapes. Regarding the green belt itself, it is formed by browfields, degradated and abandoned areas of the periphery. 24 regions, form the GreenBelt, each with distinctive characteristics. The regions main functions can simply be put as the North area - forestry and sport activities and South area agriculture and leisure activities.
The dissertation included 2 written documents: the theoretical part and the Guide of Good Practicies. (2014)

Planning city’s GREEN SYSTEM
This project represents a response to the many issues regarding the quality of life and green spaces statistics. These statistics indicates Bucharest of being one of the Europe’s capital with the least amount of green spaces.
Software used AutoCAD
The types of areas reused are rail infrastructure related: abandoned industrial sites near abandoned rail infrastructure, nonfunctional unbuilt areas all related to rail infrastructure.
Photoshop Illustrator
By utilizing the reuse principle, Bucharest can increase the green space surface by 1/3.

To overcome some of the effects of the urbanisation of the valley, the design used was of native inspiration: the plantation were design in a grid pattern similar to the orchards in the Prahova Region. The Botanical Garden is located the area where the last landscalide happened.
It is manly caused by the deforestation. To bring stability to the terrain masive planting is required. And to bring them all together in a design - the botanical garden represents a solution. The public garden is accesible with cyclying paths, pedestrian paths. The vegetation is assigned to 6 sectors each with distinctive characteristics. The design includes vegetation slope protection, resilient vegetation of native riparian herbaceus plants.
The sector which is the Botanical Garden is the reprezentative segment of the Prahova’s River Valley overall design. (2012)

The Agricultural respects the idea of protecting the natural habitats of Văcăreşti Lake. This regard is done by designing a series of buffer zones that lead from artificial activities to activities allowed in natural protected areas. The functional zoning is: research outside the embarkment, intensive agriculture on the embarkment itself, traditional agriculture inside of the area, educative planting and agricultural practicies, forestry and birdwatching.

Waterfront P A R K
Through the concept of connecting the missing links of the Bucharest’s existing green system, this project stands as a relation improvement of Bucharest city, its lakes network and its periphery.
The pedestrian routes are marked with above waterlevel platforms that allows the viewing of Pantelimon Lake. Different types of leisure activities are accomodated. Boat riding activities are possible on the main T shaped deck.
The waterfront park is a linear space. And the design is the intention of breaking that linear space into smaller, more manageable spaces with increases the chances of social interraction.
The park contains 2 pond areas designed to absorb the excessive lake water. From East to West the character of the parks shapes from natural aethetic look using reed to artificial aesthetic look planting in grid shaped orchards.

This project represent an architecture degree project. It was done in collaboration with the architect student whom this project belongs to: Cristian Bursuc. Designing the garden, the public spaces and the relation between the buildings and garden were my main tasks. The Vocational School is an ambitious project with a special attention given to the reuse of energy and water. Practically, for the sustenability of this school to work, the garden plays an important role in order to complement the constructions.
The site’s location is inside a SOS Village for orphan children. The project comes as a supplement to the village, creating an integrated urban design. (2014)

The garden has 1 major acces point signaled with vegetation groups. The small dimensions of the inner garden, made possible the consideration of the roofs as an extention of the garden. On the ground level garden, I have designed the lake with the natural cleaning vegetation based system, the sport fields and the ranks which connects the ground level garden with the roof top garden. This garden consists in 3 glass greenhouses and 3 descended thematic gardens. It is accesible from the insides of the school as well.

Lake. (2011)
The connection with the lake was made through a stairways broken into 2 platforms that act as belvedere points over the lake. Small pavilions were designed to accomodate different activities such as outdoor dinning, outdoor living. Dealing with such small scales, the design should include garden furniture elements such as flower pots and lanterns. The materials used transforms the garden into a mixture of colors and textures.
