"Love is patient love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres." - 1 Cor inthians 13:4-8 "It's easier to say, 'Don't care about what anyone thinks,' than it is to actually not care about what anyone thinks. But, honestly, anything you're passionate about, that's what you'll be the best at."- Am andla Stenber g ?One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world.?- M alala Yousafzai

HEART OF AFRI CA
YOU'RE NOT PRETEND
By Tina
By Delaney Roush
The great beauty of Africa represents us all.
Fi r st Ver se
The high mountains, the hot desert, and the waterfall.
There might be days you feel pretend because no one pays attention to you, but God the Father knows you?re not pretend (hold for 3-4 beats) (pause)
The heart of Africa is where we lived. W here we were raised, and where we were born. From our home land, we?ve come so far. From candles to shining lights. In America, we speak English. In Africa, we speak our mother tongue. We used to walk to each others house,
The Lord God is always with you so that means you?re not pretend. You and I are not pretend (hold 2 beats)
Once upon a tim e ther e w as a r ebel nam ed Riley and a hippie nam ed Flow er. One day, Flow er w as str iking against r ebel people like Riley to be in the w or ld. Riley w as cr azy and said that they should have a duel and that if Flow er w on Riley w ouldn?t be a r ebel and if Riley w on Flow er had to be the r ebel. ?See, this is the pr oblem w ith you r ebels. You r ebels alw ays w ant to star t a fight! You ALWAYS w ant to have a duel and nag, nag, nag. You guys w ant to live in a w or ld w ith fights and duels like w e ar e in a br oken place and ther e is only one piece of chicken left in the w or ld. Do you know how the w or ld w ould be if ther e w as a fight EVERYDAY and a duel EVERYDAY? The w or ld w ould be filled w ith fights and r ainbow s w ouldn?t shine, and ther e w ould be pollution, and nag, nag, nag!? Riley decided to not be a r ebel because it seem ed like too m uch w or k . Only nagging could m ake a r ebel, like Riley, lose a duel that w asn?t even star ted. And, they lived happily ever after ! THE END!
Secon d Ver se
To deliver a message. But, now we just have to call them on the phone. They have no clothes or shoes. But, we have so much that we can?t even fit it into a closet. God has brought us from so far. From so little, to so much. And, we don?t even notice it!
You might not think you?re not very popular, but in God?s eyes you?re not pretend. You don?t need your name on signs, because you?re not pretend. You are not x2 (on the 2nd time add pretend)
GCA's GOT TALENT!
Be on TV, because you?re not pretend. You may not think that this is true, but it is true that you?re not pretend, you?re not pretend (get quieter) you?re not pretend (hold pretend for 4 beats).

NEVER LET M E FALL

Crying in the bedroom. Running out of tears. Now whatever you?re going through, only God knows if you will make it through. W hen you hear God?s voice. Calling out my name. I hurry on out and give him the praise. x2 Here I am and here I stand. Walking through the Valley of the Shadow of Death and here you are. Here you stand. Standing right beside me. Just holding my hand. Here you are Lord. All of you will never let me fall. Praising your name God through all of my pain and my doubts. You?ve been there for me . You?ve always loved me. (You?ll never let me fallllllllll) x2 You?re the King of all Kings. You?ve never failed. You?re the God of all things. You?ve never failed!!! X2 Back to chorus
W HERE DO I GO FROM HERE By Tina
Sometimes I don?t understand myself. I find myself in the middle of something that I can?t explain. But, I will come around.
I wish I was more beautiful. I wish my hair was not plain, but colorful. I wish my feet wasn?t so big, I wish I didn?t look like a pig. I wish my hair was longer. I wish I wasn?t weak but stronger. I wish I remembered the times that I laughed. I would also wish to be loved. I wish I could fly like a dove. If I had one more wish, I would wish for LOVE.
W here do I go from here? You see me and then I disappear. It?s like I am a shadow on the wall. I fly so high and I always have to fall. I see my own reflection in the mirror. Everything is blurry, but it used to be so clear. W here do I go from here?
That?s all I hear everyday and every year. W ishing for all the things you never had, all the beautiful features you have and you?re still sad. You forget to count all the things God gave you, all the walls surrounding you, you will break through. God made you that way for a reason. People make fun of you, but they are just teasing. God has a purpose for everything. You just have to accept Him as the Lord your King!
Sometimes I feel like I?m all alone and I ask myself ?W here do I belong?? I hesitate ?til I find my destinatiooon. Oh oh ooooooh. W here do I go from here? You see me and then I disappear. It?s like I am a shadow on the wall. I fly so high and I always have to fall. I see my own reflection in the mirror. Everything is blurry, but it used to be so clear. W here do I go from here?
