RECEIVING SMALL WORKS EXHIBITION AUGUST 2012 Gallery 25 Exhibit Dates: August 2 through August 19, 2012. Exhibit Opening: ArtHop - Thursday, August 2, 5:00pm to 8:00pm open to all, 18 years of age or above. $10.00 per entry, no limit in number of pieces submitted. No credit cards accepted for entry to this show. 2-D and 3-D only, no video. All work will be exhibited. All work must be within 12” in measurement in any direction, including frame. All work must be ready to hang or display. All work will be for sale, Gallery 25 to retain 30% commission. All work will remain in the Gallery for the duration of the exhibit. Works must be hand delivered to the Gallery Noon to 4:00pm, Friday July 27, Saturday, July 28, and Sunday, July 29. At the time of delivery, artist will sign an agreement that work not sold will be picked up at the Gallery at the close of exhibition, August 19, between the hours of Noon – 4:00pm. Any work left in the Gallery after ArtHop, September 6 will become the property of Gallery 25, to be disposed of as the Gallery sees fit. Gallery 25 will be hosting the ArtHop reception and will advertise this exciting event and exhibition in all local news media, including the Fresno Bee. JUNE 2012 CLASSES AT “MIXED MESSAGES” ART 1310 8th Street/Sanger CA 93657/905-3517 In this class (with 4 possible sessions), you will be making prayer flags for your home, porch, or garden. You will paint them, stitch them into 5” X 8” flags, and sew and finish them with a variety of embellishments. They will then hang outside to weather and share positive prayers with those who view them. Bring an apron, sewing supplies, scissors, ideas of personal words and thoughts to add to the flags, and a tube or bottle of acrylic paint to share with the class.
