■ The Fresno Arts Council (FAC) is a private, 501(c) (3) non-profit organization established in 1979 by local artists, arts organizations, and interested individuals who wished to create a voice for the arts in the Central San Joaquin Valley. The mission of FAC is to “enrich people’s lives through the arts”.

■ The ArtHop program is a monthly event featuring art exhibits in over 60 art venues in Fresno County. Art venues include galleries/artist studios, retail outlets, and public spaces that the public could visit on the first and third Thursdays of each month.

THIRDTHURSDAYS 1 It is important to plan your ArtHop date. ■ Login to www.fresnoarthop.org to check for art exhibit/event details, location, and/ or if the specific venue you intend to visit is open that day.

2 Dress for comfort. Check the weather ■ before heading to ArtHop venues.

3 Carpool, or meet at a designated place and ■ carpool to other venues.

4 Take your friends and/or families. ■ 5 Support local artists by purchasing ■ artwork for sale.

6 Join Bike Hoppers. ■ 7 Have Fun. ■
