The Miniled Difference

The display’s new MiniLED and Quantum dot technology brings you better contrast and greater colour, thanks to the major HDR formats supported, including HLG, HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

MiniLED is a new backlight technology that uses a significantly smaller type of light-emitting diode. More of them can be crammed into the average screen, so MiniLED TVs tend to have more individual dimming zones and improved contrast.

It also features over a thousand intelligent backlight zones that are independently dimmed or brightened to enable pin-sharp contrast and real depth. The new Android TV is available in a 65” or 75” sized screen.

4-SIDED AMBILIGHT

Another impressive feature is the 4-sided Ambilight – intelligent LED array around the side of the TV that responds to the onscreen action and emits an immersive glow. This certainly takes viewing experience to the next level.

Picture And Sound Technology

The 4K UHD HDR display’s Philips P5 processor with AI guarantee lifelike pictures, and Dolby’s premium sound and video formats, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, can help your HDR content look and sound glorious.

Additional enhancements include the built-in DTS Play-Fi wireless audio streaming technology, which allows you to control all your DTS Play-Fienabled products via Wi-Fi and stream music simultaneously; and Mimi Sound Personalization, which lets you personalise your TV audio to your unique hearing profile.

Ready For Gaming

If you’re a gamer, you’ll be delighted to know that the Philips MiniLED series features a 120Hz native display panel and supports technologies such as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). It comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and boasts HDMI 2.1 connectivity and Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM) which automatically switches to ultra-low latency settings when you start gaming, to support high speed action games.

Big on feeling. Big on detail.

MiniLED uses extra-tiny light-emitting diodes to precisely control which parts of the screen are on or off. So you get all the dazzling colour of LED. And total blackout blacks. However big the screen.

Ambilight, light and shadow for a gorgeous atmosphere
