Chef Eric Teo has certainly earned his place as a Singapore culinary icon. Since his initiation into the F&B industry – as a waiter after leaving secondary school – he’s worked hard to get to the top, heading some of our finest dining establishments along the way.
He’s also celebrated for his knowledge and expertise. Between 2005 and 2013, he was President of the Singapore Chefs’ Association (the first Singaporean appointed to the position). Over the decades, he’s also represented Singapore in international culinary competitions, like the IKA Culinary Olympics in Erfurt, Germany in 2000 and the Culinary World Cup in Expogast, Luxembourg in 2002.
