Giving back to the community

In addition, for the last six years, we have been raising funds to acquire vans for charity organisations. The specially fitted vans – complete with automatic wheelchair lifters – have provided essential transport for these organisations in moving their clients to and from hospitals or rehabilitation centres.

Organisations that have benefitted over the years include Loving Heart MultiService Centre, Blue Cross Thong Kheng Home, St. Luke’s ElderCare, Handicaps Welfare Association, Sian Chay Medical Institution and Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital.

This year’s beneficiary is Cheng Hong Welfare Service Society, which will be receiving its signature bright yellow van from Gain City.

As a corporate citizen, Gain City is passionate about giving back to the community, and we hope that by doing so we will motivate other organisations and Singaporeans in general to reach out and bring hope to the less privileged.
