A clean slate

Mitsubishi Electric Plasma Quad Connect significantly improves indoor air quaiity by inhibiting six key indoor pollutants.

We spend most of our time indoors, where the level of pollutants can be two to five times higher than what’s outdoors. These pollutants can endanger our respiratory health, trigger skin allergies and affect our energy level, which is why it’s important to ensure that the air in our home is as clean as possible. Your air-con unit may filter the air, but why not go one step further and invest in a powerful air-purifying device?

Filter Options

Mitsubishi Electric Starmex airconditioners are equipped with various filter types to purify the air in your home. These include:

• Nano Platinum Filter: A standard in all wall-mounted units, this air filtration system uses nanotechnology to absorb pollutants, allergens and odours.

• Microparticle Catching Filter: Effectively eliminates PM2.5 particles and is especially useful on hazy days. It’s standard in all wallmounted indoor units.

• Anti-Allergy Enzyme Filter: Catches dead dust mites and their droppings, pollen and other allergens and decomposes them with artificial enzymes. This optional filter replaces the Microparticle Catching Filter when required.

Advanced Filtration System

A bolt-on air-purifying device, Mitsubishi Electric’s new Plasma Quad Connect comprises the Plasma Quad Plus Filtration System. It features two-stage high-performance plasma technology that utilises an electric discharge to catch and neutralise microscopically small particles such as PM 2.5 particles that are present in the air. It’s also been shown to dramatically reduce or inhibit bacteria, allergens, mould and viruses indoors – even SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
