Place of work: Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal Job Description We are looking for highly talented Software Engineers to integrate CSide R&D department for the development of the Digital Home platform and additional applications, especially on the area of Metering (Energy consumption, energy production, gas consumption and electrical vehicles). You will be working as a part of a small agile team (up to 7 programmers), located in CSide Oporto office, working accordingly an SCRUM methodology. You will need to learn fast and be able to perform different tasks: software development; Documentation; code review; managing builds and releases; Automated and manual testing. Desired Skills & Experience: Must Have:
Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience;
Proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals - object oriented design, data structures, algorithms, design, problem solving, and complexity analysis;
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities;
Full-time availability, starting on September;
Experience designing features and driving completion in time and with quality;
Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products and Microsoft Visio.
Excellent English communication skill (speaking and writing);
Nice to have:
Experience with Microsoft .Net framework and C# programming;
Experience using Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server;
Experience developing solutions for Microsoft Azure Cloud solution;
Knowledgeable on database design and SQL Server management;
Background in REST APIs, JavaScript and HTML;
Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project;
