Todos aquellos que aman el arte, más pronto o más tarde, sueñan de poseer una obra de arte original. Entre el sueño y la escritura de compra de material, sin embargo, hay por lo menos dos obstáculos a superar, especialmente cuando se trata de arte contemporáneo: el precio y la supuesta incapacidad de comprender el lenguaje artístico de hoy. El arte contemporáneo, aunque sea tal vez incomprensible, es una manera de ver la realidad que nos rodea pero sobre todo, una buena herramienta para dejar constancia de lo que somos, hemos sido y seremos. Por eso, el valor que tienen los jóvenes creadores es innegable. Demuestran qué sociedad estamos construyendo porque a través de ellos comprobamos nuestros avances, nuestros progresos. Cuanto más atrevido es el Arte, más avanza la sociedad, más se va despojando de tabúes y de artificios. A lo largo de los años, Galeria Animal, ha ido disfrutando del descubrimiento de nuevos jovenes artistas: están los que hablan de sus amigos, los preocupados por los hechos sociales, las que quieren mostrarnos superficies inmaculadas, los racionales, los que construyen, clavan o esculpen, los táctiles, las que fotografían, los que tejen, las que imaginan, los que ven, las que proponen, las que sugieren. Hay muchos y todos valen. Porque nos preguntan, porque nos interpelan, porque nos regeneran. Ver todo lo que hacen y la ilusión que transmiten nos alegra la vida, esperamos que sea lo mismo para los clientes de la Galería.

All those who love art, sooner or later, dream of owning an original work of art. Benzo, Pablo (1982) Pintor, Pablo Benzo nació en Santiago y vive en Berlin desde el 2013. En su juventud estuvo la mayoría del tiempo concentrado en el grafito y arte callejero. Esto lo ha llevado a reunirse y colaborar con muchos artistas de la escena de Santiago para luego más tarde de todo el mundo. Su obra se caracteriza por la construcción de situaciones confusas e irreales en las que plantas soñolientas y misteriosos objetos interiores se mezclan con formas abstractas, a menudo con una falta de una perspectiva coherente sobre la composición de las escenas. Painter, Pablo Benzo was born in Santiago and lives in Berlin since 2013. Bizzarri, Marco (1988) Marco Bizzarri Lyon es un artista visual graduado en la Universidad Católica de Chile. Su trabajo abarca una variedad de técnicas, desde trabajar con acuarela y acrílico, hasta al conjunto de grabado y tallado en madera. Por formas orgánicas e inorgánicas con fuerte carga cromática, se plantean preguntas sobre el individuo y el colectivo, considerando a este último como una forma fundamental de moverse y operar. Marco Bizzarri Lyon is a visual artist graduated from the Catholic University of Chile. His work covers a variety of techniques, from working with watercolor and acrylic, to the engraving and carving set in wood. For organic and inorganic forms with strong chromatic load, questions are asked about the individual and the collective, considering the latter as a fundamental way of moving and operating.

Campino, Amelia (1985) Licenciada en Artes Visuales de la Universidad Finis Terrae, en su obra, cada línea es entendida como una continuidad de puntos. En el hacer líneas, se materializa la obsesión de Amelia por la perfección, pasando esta a enmarcarse en el arte. De esta forma se aborda la espiritualidad, la dimensión puramente privada de la obra, trascendiendo así el proceso creativo. La búsqueda por la perfección, al materializarse, cae en la imperfección, dotando a la obra de un tramado rítmico. Esta acción radica en la intención de transformar los espacios en nuevos lugares, siendo éste uno de los temas que se abordan constantemente en su trabajo. Infante, Federico (1982) Federico Infante se recibió de Artes Plásticas en la Universidad Finis Terrae (Santiago, Chile) en 2002 y se graduó en la primavera de 2013 con su MFA en Ilustración en la Escuela de Artes Visuales de Nueva York. Sus obras, inspiradas en gran medida por el paisaje chileno, son únicos en su yuxtaposición de la abstracción con secciones figurativas e imágenes arquitectónicas detalladas. Desde una niebla confusa nebulosa, una figura sosteniendo un instrumento musical podría emerger. Desde la oscuridad, podríamos ver un conjunto de escaleras, prestados con increíble precisión, lo que lleva a lo desconocido. Ascui, Santiago (1983) Su trabajo surge de la necesidad de describir fenómenos visuales en los que exista alguna dicotomía entre el lenguaje narrativo estético y el modelo o situación representados. Las composiciones con las que trabaja adhieren a la conformación de la obra plástica como fenómeno principalmente rítmico y cromático, distanciándose de una línea dramática y narrativa sicológica. Licenciado en Artes Visuales con mención en pintura de la Universidad Finis Terrae de Santiago 2010. Desde el año 2005 ha participado en numerosas exhibiciones colectivas dentro y fuera de Chile. His work arises from the need to describe visual phenomena in which there is some dichotomy between the aesthetic narrative language and the model or situation represented. Rojas, Magdalena (1976) Magdalena Rojas es artista de formación autodidacta con estudios de arquitectura en Univeridad Finis Terrae (1994-1997). Rojas investiga y explora los materiales que utiliza, en su mayoría de origen orgánico (porcelana, cera, papel, madera, chapa o pintura, entre otros). El acercamiento a estos materiales lo establece a través de una estrecha relación corporal: pintando, plegando, cortando o amasando, dejando ver las sutiles huellas de lo manual en cada uno de sus trabajos. El uso de la geometría como medida exploratoria es el común denominador que subyace al resultado abstracto de estos análisis. Magdalena Rojas is a self-taught artist with architectural studies at Univeridad Finis Terrae (1994-1997). Rojas investigates and explores the materials used, mostly organic (porcelain, wax, paper, wood, veneer or paint, among others). The approach to these materials establishes it through a close body relationship: painting, folding, cutting or kneading, letting you see the subtle traces of the manual in each of his works. The use of geometry as an exploratory measure is the common denominator that underlies the abstract result of these analyzes.

Fiedler, Katherinne (1976) Katherinne Fiedler (Lima, 1982) Es licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Barcelona. En sus trabajos utiliza diversos medios, como la instalación, el vídeo, la pintura y la fotografía, reflexionando y cuestionando la naturaleza, desde una mirada metafísica. Ha realizado cinco muestras individuales y ha participado en numerosas muestras colectivas. Su obra ha sido seleccionada para importantes festivales de arte. Ha sido seleccionada para la beca Residencia Escuela Flora en Bogotá , dirigida por José Roca donde residirá el 2016 Katherinne Fiedler (Lima, 1982) has an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. She makes use of variety of different mediums in her work, including video, painting, and photography, reflecting on and questioning nature from a metaphysical point of view. Fiedler has shown her work in five individual exhibitions and has also participated in a number of different collective exhibitions. She has been selected as a finalist in several major art contests and festivals. Fiedler was selected for the Escuela Flora residence scholarship in Bogota, directed by José Roca, where she will reside in 2016.

Zegers, Marcos (1979) Marcos Zegers (30 años), arquitecto de la Universidad Diego Portales, se dedicó a la fotografía arquitectónica. Actualmente es profesor de fotografía en la escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad Diego Portales. Sus obras han sido difundidas en diversas publicaciones impresas y también en exposiciones en Galería Animal y Galería Ekho. Infraestructuras del Desierto plantea un cruce entre sensaciones de nostalgia e inmensidad y una visión fuertemente arquitectónica que devela un nuevo imaginario del desierto. Marcos Zegers (30 years old), architect of the Diego Portales University, was dedicated to architectural photography. He is currently a professor of photography at the Architecture School of Diego Portales University. His works have been disseminated in several printed publications and also in exhibitions at Animal Gallery and Ekho Gallery. Infrastructures of the Desert raises a cross between sensations of nostalgia and immensity and a vision strongly architectural that unveils a new imagery of the desert.
