DIHAO XU: no hiding
During the period I designed this collection, I was suffered from negative energy. I thought I was strong enough that I could take those all but I failed in the end. The theme of this collection is hiding, but this concept for me actually is "do not hide". Find a way to release our negative energy and this is how we learn from pressure. We can not be easily defeated by negative energy. Our generation of young people have a lot of pressure. Technical iteration, occupation disappeared, all the time to test our psychological affordability, and we just have a little time to vent. Most of our generation are used to keeping silence, and then numb, but this does not solve the problem. I hope that our generation can be aware of this, and open their own hearts, and communicate with others, and calm the mind. Black and gray are the main colors, which imply depressive mood. The oversize design, like a huge haven which wraps in negative energy. I design the big words "save me" and "brave" on the garments, which achieves an aspiration that when someone else notices people who wear these graments, he or she is willing to save them and chat with them. Meanwhile, I also wish that people wear these garments could tell themselves be brave, and do not hide.

I was a rebellious girl, I was not afraid of anything, I was the bad girl that other parents would tell their kids to stay away from. I was a girl who hated the whole world. What did I love to do? Oh, the worst things you could imagine, I was the girl with problems. When I was 18, I met my angel, I started to fear, I feared that he would find out about my past. I tried hard to be a nice girl, I didn’t smoke for half a year, I didn’t swing in the bar for half a year, I tried to convince myself that I liked being good, but...that was not real me.
Oh, finnaly, he knew...he was astonished, disappeared for a month, I was so desperate. He was back, "no more hiding, are",he said. I was so glad‌

Ivan Halloween, Halloween, it’s the time of the year when strange clothes are not strange anymore. I can wear any style that I love, skirts, high heels, lace, make up, the bold blue lips, the black nail, no one judge me, no one notice my sex, I can be whoever I want, I am Cinderella, I am a king, I am a queen, I will go where I want, the dark alley, the bar, the hollywood walk of fame, I am who I am! But...after that day, I return to what others called “normal”. Wearing boring, ordinary clothes. This is not what I like, this is not the real me. I cannot keep pretending to be what others think I should be. No, no more those days, I am who I am, I wear a lace skirt to school, I wear high heels to the mall, no more running away, I need to face my inner soul, cuz I am a transvestism with bold blood.

ASMR Art reduces your pressure Trending Now: ASMR You may not know what ASMR is, but videos about ASMR are everywhere on YouTube and livestream. The videos are often entitled with “help you fall asleep”. Will it actually do what it says and possibly cure your insomnia? It Sounds crazy, a video that can cure insomnia? Not really, because ASMR is not affected on every brain, ASMR is based on neuroscience, it stands for Autonomous sensory meridian response. It is a term used for “an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine” based on When you experience ASMR, it is like getting a brain massage. In ASMR videos, the host creates sound of stimuli to trigger ASMR that include the following: listening to a softly spoken or whisper voice Listening to quiet, repetitive sounds resulting from someone engaging in a simple tasks such as turning the pages of a book, munching food, and brushing the microphone with makeup brush. Watching someone attentively execute a mundane task such as preparing food Receiving altruistic tender personal attention Initiating the stimulus through conscious manipulation without the need for external video or audio triggers Furthermore, watching and listening to an audiovisual recording of a person performing or simulating all but not limited to the above actions and producing their consequent and accompanying sounds is sufficient to trigger ASMR for the majority of audiences who report susceptibility to the experience. If you are willing to have a ASMR experience, please prepare an earphone, the dimensional sound through earphone could provide better results.
ASMR apply to art As we know, the ASMR has potential to activate pleasant sensation, it could be used as a sleep aid that help people who suffer insomnia. It also has potential to be used in the art industry, by enhancing the pleasant sensation while audiences enjoying the atmosphere of show, such as fashion show, art gallery, film and museum. Since 2014, a limited group of artists noticed ASMR. A British artist named Lucy Clout established a channel video ‘Shrugging Offing’, used the model of online ASMR broadcasts as the basis for a work exploring the female body as contemporary art. Lately, the American artist Julie Weitz, inspired by ASMR and created the first digital arts installation called “Touch Museum”, which opened at the Young Projects Gallery on 13 February 2015, and comprised video screening distributed throughout seven rooms. In addition, the music for Julie Weitz's “Touch Museum” digital arts installation was composed by Benjamin Wynn under his pseudonym ‘Deru’, which was the first musical composition specifically created for live ASMR art event. Subsequently, artists Sophie Mallett and Marie Toseland created a live “binaural sound work” composed of ASMR triggers, broadcast by Resonance FM, the listings for which advised the audience to 'listen with headphones for the full sensory effect'. On 18 May 2015, contemporary composer Holly Herndon released an album called “Platform” which included a collaboration with artist Claire Tolan named Lonely At The Top, intended to trigger ASMR. The track "Brush" from Holly Pester 2016 album and poetry collection Common Rest featured artist Claire Tolan, exploring ASMR and its relation to lullaby. Nowadays, an increasing number of artists and individuals are creating their ASMR videos to stream on YouTube or livestream websites, attracting people to the unique ASMR experience, and we will be excited to see what this neuroscience trick will evolve into.
