A RECORD-BREAKING ROLLERCOASTER FOR PARC ASTÉRIX / Fresh

from a wonderful season, Parc Astérix, the second largest theme park in France, is getting ready for an even more sparkling 2023 season offering new exciting guest experiences. Visitors to the park can expect a brand new themed area called Le Festival Toutatis which will cover over 3 hectares. The highlight of the area will be a mega rollercoaster by Intamin, Toutatis. This ride will break a number of records at both national and international level: thanks to a top speed of 110kmph and a height of 51m, it will be the fastest and highest rollercoaster in France, setting at the same time also the European record for magnetic launches (4, performed both forwards and backwards) and the world record for airtime moments (no less than 23!). The track will be 1,075m long, but the distance traveled by riders will be 1,361m. In addition to Toutatis, the new themed area will offer a large children playground called Le sanglier d’or and Chez Gyrofolix, a custom-made NebulaZ family ride model by Zamperla.

UN COASTER DA RECORD PER PARC

ASTÉRIX / Reduce da una splendida stagione, Parc Astérix, il secondo parco a tema più grande di Francia, si prepara a una stagione 2023 ancor più sfavillante, ricca di nuove entusiasmanti esperienze per i suoi ospiti. Ad attendere i visitatori ci sarà una nuovissima area tematica di nome Le Festival Toutatis che si estenderà per oltre tre ettari. Sua attrazione regina sarà un mega ottovolante di Intamin, Toutatis, che batterà più record sia a livello nazionale che internazionale. Con una velocità massima di 110km/h e un'altezza di 51m, sarà infatti il coaster più veloce e più alto di Francia, ma allo stesso tempo l’ottovolante d’Europa con il maggior numero di lanci (quattro, sia in avanti che all'indietro) e quello con il più alto numero di airtime al mondo (ben 23!). Il tracciato avrà una lunghezza di 1.075m, ma la distanza percorsa dai rider sarà di 1.361m. Oltre a Toutatis, la nuova area tematica offrirà un grande playground di nome Le sanglier d'or e la family ride Chez Gyrofolix, una versione personalizzata del modello NebulaZ di Zamperla.
