The design started out by wanting to break away from the typical imagery portrayed by an industry. The initial inspiration was the linear dynamics of reptilian endoskeletons(eels, snake) which was relevant to the shape of the site. Site forces like neighbouring school and industries, shaped the basic zoning and views from the site determined the building’s placement . The goal was to have the building appear afloat when viewed from the pipeline road. The linear axis of the industry was turned at certain points to create points of surprise and not reveal everything at once. It also emphasized the fluidity of the form. The spine of the building holds it in place and changes in height at every interval. The processing forms the major part of the industry and the other auxiliary facilities are like plug-ins to this main axis.

The program serves two major commercial components of sell and entertain and the interiors are worked out for this hybrid. The idea was to challenge the tight hybrid site given with some interiors that break away from the rigidity. The dynamic and rhythmic forms of the interiors derives its inspiration from jazz music. The entire theme is worked out taking inspiration from old jazz bars which are dimly lite and the staging area forms the locus of program zoning. The logo is worked out in a similar manner and hence throws light on two major activities the interiors serve. The program focuses on jazz music as the entertaining component and a jazz instrument store front as a selling unit to create a hybrid commercial space. The idea is to involve people of different age groups to learn and enjoy jazz music with a small bar component as an add on.

The project is to redesign the Bangalore Haat which is currently situated under the Vivekananda metro station. The currently situated Haat is not very active due to visibility and other issues from main road. Hence the project targets to create a floating object that pulls people in and adds a smaller housing component for the artists. The plane of the ground is gradually lifted up to create a ramp which follows and swirl around the thick metro pylons. The roof profile is kept fluidic and the overall movement of within the Haat is kept rhythmic to pull people inside seamlessly once they exit the metro. The form and space derived out of it gives a different work environment to artists.

The project looks at a housing proposal for ISRO employees in Bangalore. The main idea revolves about transformable housing where in the idea of giving an independant villa space for each house in a vertical apartment is tackled. The spaces generated are flexible in nature with an outdoor garden that can be utilised for various activities or converted into a full pledged room according to need. The apartment unit works with modules of 2bhk and 3bhk flats which are interlocked to create terrace spaces on each level. The master planning of the mixed housing typology include apartments, villaments, row houses, visitors flats. Other facilities like club house are set atop a bridge that rests on top of a apartment block. The overall planning of the master zoning is inward looking to create pause points and areas of gathering for interaction . a

The concept revolves around the idea of using water as an symbolic element in the context which is water scarce. The land-use pattern is generated by connecting all the bore-well points on the site. This bore-well points are then converted to plazas based on there location on the site. This plazas also acts as bus points of the journey taken on site. The bore well points are also converted to water harvesting towers which also act as symbolic markers on site. This way the whole land map remains active. The zoning is done in accordance to the water axis generated by connecting the two catchment areas. The two bore well points are converted to a library and a main plaza surrounded by all the built components. Each building responds to the surrounding views, the plazas and mainly the water axis that runs centrally.

Banashanakari temple being the locus point of the development of the area, has over the past few decades, due to densification, has lost its importance due to the chaos. This issue was something that was to be addressed at a macro level and a structured master plan was proposed. The plan relooks at the existing ratha yatra taken by the temple jatre twice a year. A part of this axis is what is taken as a path of intervention as an origin on a larger scale and la a site is taken as a culminating point of this axis. This site thus becomes the area for the architectural intervention on the locality. Smaller parcels of lands that are left out are proposed as smaller public plazas (for eateries, markets etc), green zones (parks and play areas) and hawker spaces in the interiors of locality by proposing a Hawker module.
