Hwy 151, 10 miles N of FDL Mascoutin Valley State Park Trail - This 31-mile recreation trail will extend from Fond du Lac to Berlin. Completed portions run from Fond du Lac to Rosendale and from Ripon to Berlin. Open for bicyclists, walkers, runners and equestrian use. Winter months the trail is part of the county wide snowmobile trail system. Trail passes through the Eldorado Marsh and the Rush Lake Wildlife area. Trail is near Hwy 23 from FDL to Ripon and Hwy 49 from Ripon to Berlin. 920-929-3135. Northwestern Trail - This 2.8-mile recreation trail begins at the Ripon Public Library and extends west to the county line through a mix of city neighborhoods and rural countryside. Horicon Marsh - With more than 260 varieties of birds including geese, herons, and egrets, the 32,000-acre Horicon Marsh is a bird-watcher’s delight. Hickory Rd Kettle Moraine State Forest-Northern Unit - 23 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails at Greenbush Loop System and Zillmer Loop System. Non-groomed trails at New Fane. Warming shelter at Greenbush Recreation Area. Open year round for walking, running, and bicycling. Peebles Trail - Crushed limestone trail begins at Winnebago Dr and extends east 5 miles to the Prairie Trail along Hwy 151 FDL bypass. The Peebles Trail picks up again at the intersection of Hwy WH (formerly Hwy 149) and Hwy 151 and extends east up the Ledge into St. Peter. Open for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing.

Listen to holiday music as you view a variety of scenes and decorations. The choreographed light show will take place on a small hill in the park which will allow better viewing of the show. See the show in the comfort and warmth of your car. When arriving, tune your car radio to 87.9 FM to listen to the music. The trees will dance to 4 songs (about 10 minutes), followed by a short intermission and then the show repeats. The entire display is managed by special light

The third generation company produces some of the finest Brick, Cheddar and authentic Colby cheeses in the world. Made only in small batches, the curd is moved by hand from the vat to cheese molds and each is hand turned three times on the first day. Joe Widmer, a Master Cheesemaker, uses real bricks—the same ones his grandfather used —to press the whey from the curds. Widmer’s
