Jacobsen Museum: Located on Little Lake Road. This museum is situated on the south shore of Little Lake, in a vertical log building. Outstanding collection of natural and historical artifacts of the region. Open on Memorial Day weekend and then daily 10-4 p.m. until closing in mid-October.

L ighthouses Pottawatomie Light (1858): North shore of Rock Island. Oldest lighthouse in Door County. Entertains visitors during summer-fall months.. Baileys Harbor Range Lights (1869): Located in the Ridges Sanctuary, became necessary when the first lighthouse had to be extinguished because of poor positioning. Known as the “birdcage lighthouse” because of its lantern room design, the tower still stands at the entrance to the harbor. Plum Island (1895): These lights located in the center of Death’s Door passage at the tip of the Door Peninsula are really “range lights.” These are two widely separated lights at different elevations that appear to merge together, one over the other, when a ship is entering the passage safely. Chamber’s Island: Situated in Green Bay near Fish Creek. It and Eagle Bluff are nearly identical except for the shape of the towers.

Cana Island: Located off County Q north of Baileys Harbor, is an imposing 65-foot brick tower built in 1869 and sheathed in steel in 1902. Operated by the Door County Maritime Museum, Cana Island is open mid-May to late October. Eagle Bluff Lighthouse: Erected in 1868 and is in Peninsula State Park north of Fish Creek. The Door County Historical Society has restored the building and furnished it with period antiques. Guided tours highlight the story of the second keeper, William Duclon, and his family. Sherwood Point: Became the last Great Lakes lighthouse to be automated by the U.S. Coast Guard in 1983 when its keeper retired. Situated on Green Bay at the mouth of Sturgeon Bay. U.S. Coast Guard Station: Both a century-old tower light which signals the entrance to the man-made passage that connects Lake Michigan with Sturgeon Bay and a “headlight” marking the end of the breakwater.

What is a Subluxation and what does it do to me? In simplest terms, a subluxation (a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and creates pressure on, or irritates spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves. How does this affect you? Your nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of your body. If you interfere with the signals traveling over nerves, parts of your body will not get the proper nerve messages and will not be able to function at 100% of their innate abilities. In other words, some part of your body will not be working properly. Some signs and

symptoms of a subluxation of the nervous system are: • Arthritic joint pain • Asthma like symptoms • Arm and leg numbness • Back pain • Carpal tunnel syndrome • Colic/lack of thrive (fussy) child • Disc bulges/hernias • Headaches • Irritability • Fatigue • Muscle tension • Neck pain • Sciatica • Scoliosis (curvature in the spine) • Tingling in arms or legs
