It is a book about the change of our society becoming more and more visualised. It was done through observations on tourist behaviours, most of which is about tourist taking photographs. On the one hand, technology facilitates modern life by digitalizing everything into binary numbers; on the other hand, it shapes people’s understanding of the real world. It is an argument based on the theory which was sometimes called technological determinism, proposed by Marshall McLuhan in his book, Understanding Media: the extension of man.
