Venti del Garda Trentino Tra tutti i paesi della riviera gardesana, quelli del Garda Trentino sono quelli dove il vento soffia con maggior intensità e costanza. Nelle giornate di tempo buono il vento soffia costantemente da Nord al mattino e da Sud al pomeriggio a causa della differenza di temperatura tra la superficie lacustre e il territorio a settentrione del lago.
VENT O PELÉR Soffia da Nord nelle prime dodici ore del giorno interessando gran parte della superficie del lago di Garda incorporando ed alimentando altri venti. Normalmente soffia a partire dalle 2-3 di notte fino alle 11-12. 6
Interessa dapprima l’alto e medio lago per poi coprire l’intera superficie col sorgere del sole, che d’estate coincide con un aumento di intensità. È un vento teso che forma onde la cui cresta viene spezzata dalla sua forza. Nel gergo popolare si dice che il vento ‘el pela’ l’onda. A ciò si deve il nome più comune di Pelér. Tale vento può arrivare a soffiare anche oltre i 13 m/s.
ORA Proveniente da Sud, è il vento più famoso dell’Alto Garda conosciuto da surfisti e velisti di tutto il mondo. Si alterna al Pelér, soffiando a partire dalle 12-13 fino al calar del sole. L’Ora raggiunge nella zona dell’Alto Garda la sua massima intensità grazie alla conformazione orografica del territorio che causa l’effetto Venturi, portandola a soffiare oltre i 10 m/s e provocando un significativo moto ondoso. Ha nella bella stagione la sua massima intensità mentre in inverno è assai debole.
VENTO DA BALÌM O BALINOT Scende dal Passo Ballino, situato a nord-ovest di Riva del Garda. Periodico e prevalentemente invernale, soffia dopo un brusco abbassamento della temperatura nella zona da cui proviene, causato spesso da abbondanti nevicate o temporali. Raggiunge anche i 20 m/s. Solleva onde più alte di quelle del Pelér.

PONAL Vento periodico proveniente dalla Valle di Ledro. Vento da ovest; soffia verso sera, nelle ore più fresche. Gagliardo, tende a raggiungere la costa orientale dove però diventa meno intenso. Si incorpora nel Pelér, del quale talvolta rappresenta una variante di maltempo. Può accompagnare i temporali estivi soffiando a forte intensità e creando non poche complicazioni ai naviganti del lago.
VINESSA Soffia dal versante veneto verso quello bresciano e arriva nell’Alto Garda da una direzione più spostata verso est rispetto all’Ora. È un vento occasionale e può soffiare costante per due/tre giorni consecutivi. Solitamente è dovuto a forti perturbazioni sul versante Adriatico ed è anticipato da Bora intensa nel Triestino. Grazie alla costanza del vento e alle onde ben formate è un ottimo vento per fare windsurf.

Die Winde des Garda Trentino Verglichen mit dem gesamten Gebiet rund um den Gardasee hat die Region Garda Trentino den regelmäßigsten und intensivsten Windgang. Aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Temperaturen an der Wasseroberfläche und in der Berglandschaft im Norden des Sees weht der Wind bei schönem Wetter morgens konstant aus dem Norden und nachmittags aus dem Süden.
DER „VENT “ ODER „PELÉR“ 8
Dieser Wind weht während der ersten zwölf Stunden des Tages aus nördlicher Richtung über einen großen Teil der Oberfläche des Gardasees, vermischt sich mit anderen Winden oder verstärkt sie sogar. Normalerweise weht er von 2-3 Uhr nachts bis 11-12 Uhr mittags. In der Nacht trifft dieser Wind hauptsächlich auf den nördlichen und mittleren Teil des Gardasees. Mit dem Sonnenaufgang breitet er sich über die ganze Seeoberfläche aus. Gerade bei den steigenden Temperaturen im Sommer kommt es zu hohen Windstärken. Vent ist ein starker Wind, er ruft kräftige Wellen hervor, deren Kämme durch seine Kraft brechen. Im hiesigen Jargon heißt es, dass dieser Wind die Wellen „knackt“ (pelare), daher auch sein Zweitname „Pelér“. Er kann Windstärken von mehr als 13 m/s erreichen.
DIE „ORA“ Die „Ora“ kommt aus dem Süden und gilt als der berühmteste Wind des oberen Gardasees, der vor allem Surfern und Seglern aus aller Welt gleichermaßen bekannt ist. Entgegen des Pelér spürt man sie vor allem zwischen 12/13 Uhr bis hin zum Sonnenuntergange. weht sie von 12-13 Uhr bis man ihn vor allem zwischen 12/13 Uhr und Sonnenuntergang. Aufgrund der orthografischen Form des Gardasees erreicht die Ora im Garda Trentino ihre höchste Geschwindigkeit mit über 10 m/s und verursacht dabei einen erheblichen Wellengang. Zudem ruft sie den Venturi-Effekt hervor. Er ist während der schönen Jahreszeit am intensivsten und im Winter eher schwach.
DER „VENTO DA BALÌM“ ODER „BALINOT“ Dieser Wind kommt vom Ballino-Pass, im Nord-Westen von Riva del Garda, und wird meist durch starke Schneefälle oder Gewitter hervorgerufen. Er bläst regelmäßig und vor allem im Winter, verursacht durch die starken Temperaturabfälle in der Gegend, in der er entsteht. Der Wind erreicht Geschwindigkeiten von 20 m/s und bewirkt noch höhere Wellen als der „Pelér“.
DER „PONAL“ Der „Ponal“ ist ein periodischer Wind, der im Ledro-Tal entsteht. Er weht von Westen her besonders in den kalten Stunden des Abends. Der frische Wind erreicht auch die östliche Küste, ist dort aber weniger intensiv. Der „Ponal“ vermischt sich manchmal mit dem „Pelér“ und bringt bisweilen schlechtes Wetter mit sich. Vereinzelt begleitet er die Sommergewitter und bläst so stark, dass die Wassersportler auf dem See ordentlich zu kämpfen haben.
DER „VINESSA“ Der „Vinessa“ weht von Venetien nach Brescia hinüber und erreicht den oberen Gardasee aus einer östlicheren Richtung als der „Ora“. Er ist ein gelegentlicher Wind, der zeitweise drei bis vier Tage hintereinander konstant weht. Normalerweise wird dieser Wind durch starke Wetterunruhen an der Adria hervorgerufen. Ihm geht meist ein kräftiger „Bora“ aus Richtung Triest voraus. Dank der konstanten Windstärke und der gleichmäßigen Wellen ist der Wind optimal für das Windsurfen geeignet.

Winds of Garda Trentino It’s on the Garda Trentino coast, compared to the whole Lake Garda, where the wind is more regular. It constantly blows from the North in the morning and from the South in the afternoon because of the difference in temperature between the surface of the lake and the Northern territory.
THE “VENT” OR “PELÉR” Blows from the North during the first twelve hours of the day, affecting a large part of the surface of Lake Garda incorporating and nourishing other winds. It normally starts blowing from 2 or 3 o’clock at night until 11 or 12 o’clock in the morning. 10
It first affects the northern and central part of the lake but then it affects the entire surface at sunrise, with increasing intensity during the summer. It is a strong wind forming waves whose crests are broken by its force. In popular slang they say that this wind breaks (“el pela”) the waves, where its more common name Pelér derives from. This wind can blow even over 13 m/s.
THE “ORA” Blowing from the South, is the most famous wind in upper Garda, well known by surfers and sailors from all over the world. It alternates with the Pelér, blowing from 12/ 1pm until sunset. The Ora achieves its maximum intensity in upper Garda thanks to the orographic conformation of the territory. This causes in fact the Venturi effect which intensifies its force to over 10m/s provoking significant wave motion. It reaches its maximum intensity in the summer while in the winter it is very weak.
THE “VENTO DA BALÌM” OR “BALINOT” Comes down from Ballino Pass, located North-West of Riva. It is a periodical wind and it mainly blows in the winter. It blows after a brusque drop in temperature often caused by heavy snowfall or thunderstorms in the area where it comes from, reaching even 20 m/s. It raises higher waves than the Pelér.

THE “PONAL” A periodical western wind, blowing from Ledro Valley during the fresh hours of the evening. It is a strong wind and tends to reach the east coast where it loses intensity. It incorporates the Pelér, now and then representing bad weather. It sometimes accompanies summer thunderstorms blowing with a strong intensity and creating a lot of problems to sailors and surfers.
THE “VINESSA” Blows from the Venetian side towards the Brescia side and arrives in upper Garda from a more eastern direction than the Ora. It is an occasional wind and it can blow constantly for two or three days, usually due to heavy perturbations on the Adriatic side and anticipated by an intense Triestine “Bora”. Thanks to its constancy and well formed waves it is a perfect wind to practice windsurf.

I venti che soffiano regolari rendono ogni giornata perfetta per un’uscita in barca o in windsurf. Le onde, mai eccessivamente grosse, sono adatte sia ai principianti che agli esperti. Il Lago di Garda è riconosciuto come uno dei migliori campi di regata mondiali e non ha nulla da invidiare ai grandi circuiti internazionali. Riva del Garda e Torbole sul Garda sono tra le località più famose per “scendere il vento”, anche grazie alla qualità dei servizi offerti, con scuole e noleggi di altissimo livello. STAND UP PADDLE IT
Ecco la nuova attività di tendenza: il SUP, lo Stand Up Paddle, cioè la remata in piedi sulla tavola. Il Garda Trentino è perfetto per praticarlo sia con l’onda che con il lago calmo. È divertente e rilassante, lo si può praticare come attività propedeutica al windsurf o come un vero e proprio sport per mantenersi in forma, scaricare lo stress a contatto con l’acqua e la natura.
Der neueste Trend im Wassersport ist das Stand Up Paddling, auch Stehpaddeln oder SUP genannt. Mit einem Paddel und Surfboard paddelt man in stehender Position während man von den Wellen vorangetrieben wird. Das Garda Trentino bietet hierfür optimale Bedingungen. Stand Up Paddling eignet sich besonders gut als Vorübung in Vorbereitung auf das Windsurfen. Daneben ist es aber auch eine gute Trainingsmöglichkeit, um fit zu bleiben und Stress abzubauen.

Evita di passare sulla rotta delle navi e imbarcazioni pubbliche che hanno precedenza sui natanti a vela, onde evitare infortuni e sanzioni. Rispetta la distanza di sicurezza di 100 metri dai mezzi pubblici in navigazione. Non surfare in prossimità e all’interno dei porti e nelle aree riservate alla balneazione. Indossa sempre il mezzo individuale di salvataggio omologato CE al galleggiamento.

Fatelo però sempre assieme alle guide dei centri canyoning che durante la bella stagione organizzano uscite quotidiane. I percorsi sono noti a pochi perché le guide ne sono gelose. Infilatevi la muta, il casco e l’imbragatura con il discensore sfidando le rapide immersi nel bosco tra le rocce, scoprendo un mondo sconosciuto. 25
CANYONING
DURCH DEN STROM Wer den Adrenalinkick mag, ist im Garda Trentino bestens aufgehoben. Abenteurer können beim Canyoning die Berge im Norden des Sees entdecken. Ausgerüstet mit Helm und Taucheranzug stürzen sie sich in die Bergbäche, seilen sich ab und tauchen durch Schluchten mit kristallklarem Wasser. Für die Sicherheit der Teilnehmer ist natürlich gesorgt.

Der Sport erfordert Teamgeist und Ausdauer beim Klettern, Schwimmen und Tauchen. Il lago di Garda e i corsi d’acqua del Garda Trentino offrono agli amanti della pesca ambienti molto diversi tra loro: dal lago più grande d’Italia a piccoli specchi d’acqua ai piedi delle montagne al fiume Sarca. Qui è possibile pescare diverse specie di pesci: trota, cavedano, coregone, tinca, trota fario, anguilla, barbo, luccio, carpa, salmerino... Per la pesca nel Lago di Garda trentino è necessario essere in possesso di una valida licenza di pesca italiana o licenza turistica provinciale sostitutiva.

Per la pesca nei fiumi e piccoli laghi è necessario, oltre alla licenza, un permesso giornaliero o settimanale rilasciato dall’Associazione Pescatori e in vendita presso gli uffici informazioni di Riva del Garda, Arco e Torbole. Questo permesso è valido per il fiume Sarca (eccetto località Limarò), Albola, Rimone, Varone e laghi di Tenno, Cavedine, Toblino e Santa Massenza.
Für Liebhaber des Angelsports bieten der Gardasee und die Wasserläufe der Garda Trentino Region eine Vielzahl an Spots: Angefangen beim größten See Italiens bis hin zu den kleineren Gewässern am Fuß der Berge sowie dem Fluss Sarca. Hier bekommt man zahlreiche Fischarten an den Haken, beispielsweise Forellen und Bachforellen, Döbel, Felchen, Schleien, Aale, Barben, Hechte, Saiblinge und Karpfen. Um im Garda Trentino Gebiet angeln zu dürfen, ist ein gültiger italienischer Angelschein oder eine touristische Ersatz-Lizenz für die Region erforderlich. Für das Angeln an den Flussläufen und kleinen Gewässern der Region braucht man zusätzlich eine offizielle Zulassung der Associazione Pescatori (Angelverein). Sie kann für einen Tag oder für eine Woche ausgestellt werden und ist in den Informationszentren von Riva del Garda, Arco und Torbole erhältlich. Mit der Zulassung darf man in der Sarca (ausgenommen im Gebiet von Limarò) angeln, sowie in den Wildbächen Albola, Rimone und Varone sowie den Seen von Tenno, Cavedine, Toblino und Santa Massenza.

Lake Garda and the waterways of Garda Trentino offer fishing enthusiasts a range of diverse environments: from the largest lake in Italy to tiny bodies of water at the feet of the mountains and the River Sarca. You can fish for many species here: trout, chub, whitefish, tench, brown trout, eel, barbel, pike, carp, and char... To go fishing in Garda Trentino you need to have a valid Italian fishing licence or an equivalent provincial tourist fishing licence. To fish in the rivers or smaller lakes, in addition to the fishing licence you also need a daily or weekly pass issued by the Associazione Pescatori which is on sale in the tourist information offices in Riva del Garda, Arco and Torbole. This permit is valid for the River Sarca (excluding the Limarò area), Albola, Rimone, Varone and Lakes Tenno, Cavedine, Toblino and Santa Massenza.
