PROOFREADERS Ruth Buehler, Juanita Fox, & Kaiya Boll April welcomes beautiful blooms and wonderful opportunities to gather with friends at Garden Spot Village. This year, we open our doors to local businesses for the annual Business Expo on Thursday, April 21. Residents and future residents are encouraged to visit our vendors from 10am-2pm, with booths located throughout the Village Square, Main Street and Chapel areas. Vendor registration fees for this event are directed to the Benevolent Fund, supporting residents who can no longer afford the cost of living expenses.

WELCOME, BARBARA MARTIN!

We are delighted to welcome Barbara Martin as our new Associate Director of Development. Barb began working at Garden Spot Village on March 1, 2022. She is excited to meet and partner with our residents and staff members as she coordinates events and designs publications for the Development Department.

BIRD HOUSE AUCTION RESULTS

We extend many thanks to our creators and bidders who actively participated in the 2022 Bird House Auction. This year, auction receipts exceeded $3,700, with cumulative earnings from annual auctions between 2009-2022 now surpassing $50,000! We are grateful to all who committed time and personal skill to benefit the Benevolent Fund at Garden Spot Village.

MEMORIAL GARDEN

Garden Spot Village holds a special place in the hearts of our residents. If you have considered making plans to have ashes interred on campus, the Memorial Garden is a beautiful setting in which to do so. To learn more about arranging the interment of ashes and making a gift to the Benevolent Fund, call Wendy Nagle, Director of Development (6215) to schedule an appointment.
