Providing opportunities for adults to GO out into our community, DO the thing that is in front of us, HELP others and make a di erence.
AUGUST 1 – 31: OCC SHOEBOX / PACK-A-PALOOZA SUPPLIES COLLECTION
Items collected will be used for Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child. For over 20 years, Samaritan’s Purse has delivered shoebox gifts, packed by caring people like you, to hurting children around the world. Pack-a-Palooza is an opportunity for those who are unable to fill a shoebox on their own, pooling their resources together to fill boxes. PACK-A-PALOOZA ITEMS NEEDED INCLUDE: Washcloths & individual bars of soap • Toothbrushes • Small combs & hair bands, bows or clips • Band-Aids Crayons • Small notebooks /notepads • Pencils & erasers • Pencil sharpeners Child sunglasses • Sewing kits, sm. tool kits • Socks • Marbles • Simple child’s watch • Collapsible cups Toys – balls, lt. brown skinned dolls (no hair), jump ropes, trucks, cars, other ** Keep in mind that all items will need to fit inside a shoebox

If you would like to bless a child by packing your own shoebox, OCC shoeboxes will be available for pick-up, September – October, in the Life Enrichment office.
