Garland Heritage Celebration

The 2017 Garland Heritage Celebration features live music, walking tours of Historic Main Street, lectures from Rose-Mary Rumbley and Thatcher Freund, an exhibit showing Downtown Garland Through Time, food, drinks, and even a free mechanical bull ride!

National Register Celebration

In conjunction with the Garland Heritage Celebration, The Travis College Hill Historic District in Garland will celebrate its new listing on the National Register of Historic Places in a special ceremony on April 22 at 2 p.m. Travis College Hill home tours will be from 12 p.m.-4 p.m. Travis College Hill is between Avenues B and D on South 11th Street near downtown Garland.
