Clarissa, the second wife of Henry Hailsham Brown, is adept at spinning tales of adventure for their bored diplomatic circle. When a murder takes place in her drawing room, she finds live drama much harder with which to cope. GSO Opens 2015-2016 Season with Award-Winning Pianist, Jan Jiracek October 16 This season, the Garland Symphony Orchestra will explore masterpieces inspired by visions of riches. From Auber’s "Overture to the Crown Diamonds" to Lehar’s "Gold and Silver Waltz," it promises to be a glittering array of musical treasures. The Garland Symphony Orchestra opens its 2015-2016 with world-renowned pianist, Jan Jiracek, described by BBC Music Magazine as "one of the leading pianists of his generation."
