How We Planned Objectives of the Planning Process The planning process was conducted with four main objectives in mind: 1. Develop common goals, strategies, and action steps to grow the ways that cultural arts can contribute to a healthy and vibrant community and the social, cultural, and economic wellbeing of all community members. 2. Develop the plan collaboratively with diverse residents, creative sector stakeholders, and staff. 3. Clarify opportunities for collaborations and relationships. 4. Integrate these goals with the broader context of City of Garland goals for resident quality of life and visitor experience.
