A Message from the Dean
As I reflect on my first year as dean of the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, I am filled with gratitude and excitement. It has been an incredible journey so far, and I am thrilled to share this year’s dean’s report with you. We have made remarkable strides toward our vision of becoming the world’s most connected, interdisciplinary, and experiential business school.
At Scheller, we remain committed to driving innovation in business education, advancing and supporting research, and creating greater access to transformative learning experiences for all.
This year, we introduced the M.S. Major in Management program, providing early-career students with a foundation in business fundamentals, while also creating new interdisciplinary minors and concentrations. We also expanded our Executive Education offerings with timely and relevant programs such as AI for Business and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt: Certification Project in Panama.
Additionally, we have expanded our experiential learning opportunities, enabling students to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world application. From launching the Center for Finance and Technology to offering immersive capstone projects, practicums, and global immersion trips to places like Singapore, Vietnam, Czechia, and the Nordics, we are preparing students for global leadership.
This hands-on approach is made possible by our faculty and their pioneering expertise in fields like AI, analytics, fintech, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and more. Their thought leadership ensures that our curriculum remains at the forefront of industry trends and challenges, preparing our students to lead in an ever-evolving business world.
Closer to home, Tech Square Phase 3 is coming to life. This exciting expansion will further connect Scheller to Atlanta’s dynamic innovation ecosystem. We are excited for our graduate and Executive Education programs to thrive in this state-of-the-art space, beginning in Spring 2026.
Through it all, Scheller continues to be recognized as a leader in excellence, with our undergraduate, M.S., and MBA programs consistently ranking top 20 in the nation and top five among public institutions. The scholarly and applied research by our faculty continues to garner increasing recognition for its relevance and impact around the world.
These accomplishments would not be possible without the unwavering support of our students, faculty, staff, alumni, benefactors, and partners. Your support and engagement make all the difference, enabling us to create leaders and shape the future of business education and research.
I am more excited than ever about the possibilities ahead and I am most thankful to have this opportunity to be part of the Scheller story with you. Together, let’s continue building something truly extraordinary.
