Client Overview The client is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 in Sweden. They own a crowdfunding platform in connecting entrepreneurs and small companies with potential investors. They chose Gateway Digital for our expertise and experience in developing DLT and Blockchain IT platforms.
Business Challenge The client wanted to transform their legacy systems and upgrade their existing crowdfunding platform using BDLT- a combination of Blockchain and DLT. They wanted to set new standards for processes and procedures in crowdfunding that are valid across borders and therefore simplify the possibility of investing in international companies. Using BDLT, it was envisioned that entrepreneurs can present their crowdfunding campaigns across multiple platforms and across borders without much effort, increasing the reach of potential investors.
