Historic Boardwalk Hall is Atlantic City’s premier entertainment location. Built in 1929 to accommodate the city’s budding convention industry, the unique seaside arena is now a versatile contemporary venue known for world class entertainment, championship sporting events, and quality family shows. A threeyear, $90 million renovation and restoration project was completed in 2001, transforming the historic hall into a state-of-the-art special events arena, capable of seating up to 14,800 and meeting present day production standards. In that time, Boardwalk Hall has played host to an ever-growing list of dazzling stars including Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Madonna, Andrea Bocelli, Neil Diamond, and Bon Jovi. It is also a destination for major sporting events, including championship boxing, the Legends Classic, and the Atlantic 10 men’s basketball championship. Boardwalk Hall consistently remains a top choice for quality entertainment among Atlantic City’s 33 million annual visitors. In 2005, 2006, and 2008, the Hall secured the top spot as the highest grossing mid-sized arena in the world as reported by Venues Today and Billboard magazines. Atlantic City is located within driving distance of nearly one-third of the nation’s population and a combined purchasing power of $800 billion. Roughly 35 million people visit Atlantic City each year for its famous beaches, casinos, and stellar line-up of entertainment. It serves to enthrall residents and visitors year-round with concerts, sporting events, gaming, fine-dining, and shopping. Set on some of the most picturesque beaches along the east coast, Atlantic City provides an unforgettable atmosphere for all. LegendsClassic.com
