THE VOICE OF WOMEN IN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY We had so much fun at the Chalk Paint Workshop! Thank you to all who attended. Mary Robertson of Nona Ruth’s gave us a great hands-on tutorial using the Amy Howard One Step Paint. I know everyone is enjoying their new painted picture frame. We gained a new skill, learned about an innovative product, and had lots of laughs with old and new friends. Not to mention, we got to shop! Nona Ruth’s has so many beautiful home décor items. Gina’s Alma Mater: Gina received her Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Augusta State University in Georgia, and her Associate in Applied Science degree in Interior Design from Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham.
Other Organizations:
Gina is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers, and served as Membership Director for the Alabama Chapter for two years. Gina currently serves on the Board of Directors for Glenwood Autism and Behavioral Health Career: Center in Birmingham, and volunteers her time assisting Gina is the Designer for Oak Alley Glenwood in many ways. A Closer Look at GBAHB PWB Come join a group of diverse and fun women working together to make a difference for the home building industry, growing personally and professionally, making lasting relationships, and having fun along the way. PWB hosts monthly events with a wide variety of programs including education, fun networking, community outreach, and advocacy for the home building industry. We hosted the Chili Cook Off this past November and raised $4,000 for ABPAC. We have many more exciting events coming up for 2014!
