DESIGN BRIEF The design brief of this project involves the design of a city hall that will enhance a sense of place while also trying to convey the image and culture of the people. The city hall serves a critical role in hosting municipal offices and services, but they are also as important architecturally ;as they leave a visual legacy for the city they represent. DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS The project is expected to meet the following needs; VENTILATION-Create a homely environment with the use of natural lighting and

The project aims at designing an Airport (Local) within the Lekki Free Trade Zone area of Lagos State,, which would accommodate both cargo and maintenance hangers of world class standards

DESIGN CONCEPT To design a passenger friendly airport that allows ease of circulation and flexibility for its users

FEASIBILITY STUDIES The Lekki Free zone project is aimed at developing, operating and managing a modern Free Zone in accordance with international practice by making full use of the advantages of Lagos as being the important distribution hub in West Africa, thereby further enhancing the economic cooperation between Nigeria and China with their mutual complement and compatibility of resources, optimizing the Nigerian industrial structure and improving its national living standard. Lekki Free Zone is located in the South-eastern corner of Lagos State, facing the Atlantic Ocean to the south, and the Lekki Lagoon to the north. It is bordered with 5 kilometers of coast line and stretching 50 kilometers away from downtown Lagos city center.

LOW INCOME LOW INCOME TYPOLOGY MASTER PLAN DESCRIPTION • it consist of different neighborhoods which consist of different types of clusters for different income levels • The access roads around the site include Herbert Macaulay way and the third mainland bridge. The main access roads within the sites include the Makoko road and Church street with other adjoining roads linked to them. • High income housing units located to the bottom left of the site • Middle-income housing units are located at the top and tending to central left of the site. • The top central right of the site and the bottom right is where the low-income housing units can be found. • Institutional and commercial buildings are all centrally located in what is somewhat a central business district • The industrial area and a chunk of service facilities can be found at the top-right side of the site
