Inspired by our purpose, we’re focused on helping our people to be their best inside and outside of work. We offer a range of health and wellness programmes globally and believe in the importance of fitness and overall wellbeing.
Whether you play sports, run, walk or train vigorously in the gym, we encourage our people to be active and fit through initiatives such as gym access, 5K or 10K runs, fitness challenges, walks and sports days.
We also recognise the importance of looking after your mental health making onsite health and wellness facilities available. We celebrate this during an annual Wellness Week as part of wider programmes globally. We provide an Employee Assistance Programme (Ireland and US) – a confidential counselling service available to employees providing professional support and information on a wide range of topics.
Health education is delivered through GPN’s Sports Nutrition Schools global education programme. The school is an industry leading programme designed to educate participants on the benefits of combining exercise, good nutrition and supplementation.

Glanbia maintains A long-standing association with a number of sporting and cultural initiatives.
One of our core values is showing respect, and we believe in respecting and enriching the communities in which we work.
Glanbia has local and global charity initiatives which we call ‘Glanbia Gives’. In recent years Glanbia has worked with food banks, orphanages, cancer charities, heart health charities and with many more good causes around the world. We contribute through donations, sponsoring events and even through holding our own fundraising events. We’ve held cake sales, bowling events and sports days, walks and runs to fundraise money for the charities that are close to our heart.
Health and wellness is the theme for all community partnerships. Glanbia continues to maintain its longstanding association with a number of sporting and cultural initiatives in the regions in which we operate. In Ireland, Glanbia’s support for the Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford GAA teams continues to resonate strongly with local communities. Our support for local cultural initiatives is seen through our commitment to the world famous Kilkenny Arts Festival as well as food festivals Savour Kilkenny and the Waterford Food Festival.

Co-operative work placement programme
Our co-operative work placement programme offers you the opportunity to gain excellent experience as part of your degree programme. Placements typically last from 6-12 months. We work in partnership with the colleges in offering these placements.
Summer internship programme
Glanbia runs a 12 week summer internship programme offering you a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and work as part of a team on exciting projects.
