Whiskey Tasting

Join in this unique experience, a premium Whiskey Spirits Tasting Event. Sample four intricately hand-crafted spirits which includes a young whiskey finished in a Chardonnay cask, a Rye whiskey finished in a Caribbean rum cask, an infused orange and lavender Viridian Gin finished in a whiskey barrel, and a wheat red corn whiskey made only from the best Maryland grains. Learn about the history and process of making quality spirits as you sample. Spirits are provided by local distillery Schmidt Spirits.

Join us for a delightful afternoon as we take a journey to get to know the instruments: Hammered Dulcimer, Mbira and Fiddle with Ken Kolodner. We will enjoy light refreshments and drinks as we learn about the instruments and listen to traditional music ranging from Appalachian Fiddle tunes to the music of Ireland, Scotland, Bolivia, Chile, Israel and elsewhere. Do not miss out; it will be a treat indeed!
