GCAAR offers Military Relocation Professional certification course on Nov. 6

I

f you’re interested in working with current and former military service members looking for housing, then you’ll want to take the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification course, which GCAAR is hosting virtually on Nov. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The course is one of the requirements needed to earn the MRP certification. The MRP certification program educates REALTORS® about working with U.S. service members and their families and veterans to find housing solutions that best suit their needs, and to help them take full advantage of available benefits and support. The certification course teaches real estate professionals how to support former and current service members in the following ways: • Helps you understand the processes and procedures involved in a military relocation and how they impact service members’ housing choices. • Provides information that helps service members decide whether to rent vs. buy, or sell vs. rent. • Helps you identify and provide services that help service members sell or find and purchase suitable homes. • Informs real estate professionals about the military relocation process, so that you can be informed as you guide service members through real estate transactions. • Explains the basics of VA financing. • Provides access to members-only marketing tools and resources. Visit GCAAR’s Class & Events calendar at gcaar.com/calendar to register for this course. For additional details on how to earn your MRP, visit nar.realtor/education/ designations-and-certifications/mrp.
