One of the up-and-comers in the coaching ranks, Cole Dewey begins his first season as the head man in Garden City. For the North Carolina native, it’s a coming of sorts having spent the 2013 season as an assistant under Brady Trenkle where the Broncbusters finished 22-9. Since then, Dewey has landed assistant jobs at powerhouse South Plains (National runner-up in 201415) and Indian Hills before being hired by Otero in 2018. The following year, he guided the Rattlers to 25 wins and a No. 5 national ranking. “Coach Dewey was a tremendous hire by Garden City.” -Buzz Williams Texas A&M Head Coach

“We ddddhave to really build our program first and foremost. We have to get the name out there that Garden City basketball is back to what it was with the Keith Smart’s and the Darrin Hancock’s of the world. But this year has definitely been a challenge so far. However, I’ve been so impressed with the resiliency of the guys on a day-to-day basis. -Garden City Head Coach Cole Dewey
