La Quinta Art Celebration

Coming up the beginning of next month is the La Quinta Art Celebration, an awardwinning fine art and crafts event featuring 200 jury-selected premier artists from 31 states and six countries. It will be held March 2-5, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the La Quinta Civic Center Campus.

This signature La Quinta event welcomes artists showing their original works in 10 different categories. Aside from exquisite art, the celebration features live music daily as well as a variety of delicious food options to fit every palate and libations including a champagne bar, a wine experience and an oasis lounge.

The 16th Annual La Quinta Hot Rod and Custom Car Show will be held February 25, 2023. Whether you are a car enthusiast or simply want to come out and enjoy food, drinks, entertainment and browsing some incredible cars, this event has something for everyone. The vehicles will be displayed through the spacious grounds of the park, allowing viewers to take their time and comfortably enjoy each vehicle on display. This year the show will be recognizing several prize-winning categories, including Best Street Rod, Best Classic, Best Muscle Car, Best Sports Car and more. Attendees will enjoy the proximity to Old Town La Quinta and the many shops, restaurants, hiking trails and parks in the area.

This intimate event gives car enthusiasts an opportunity to speak with the owners of the cars on display – who love their cars and are excited to show them off. Registered vehicles that will be on display have been lovingly and painstakingly restored. Many owners are happy to share their vast knowledge about cars in general. It’s a great place to research how much a car may be worth, or even where to buy a particularly hardto-find part.

The event exudes a certain nostalgia that is celebrated, as well. For instance, in 2018, a timeline of Corvettes was featured. Each in the timeline represented a generation of the Corvette, which coincided with the 65th anniversary of the legendary American sports car. The previous year, the focus was on the 50th anniversary of the Camaro.

Brought to you by the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of La Quinta, this event will be held at La Quinta Community Park located at 77-865 Avenida Montezuma. Entertainment, food, drinks and a beer garden will be available at this family-friendly event. The La Quinta Hot Rod and Custom Car Show will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on February 25th, and both attendance and parking are free.
