Destined to be Scotland’s largest urban nature park, the proposed Seven Lochs Wetland Park is already a wild place worth visiting. Almost 20 square kilometres of wetland, woodland, burns, ponds, lochs and meadows are just waiting to be explored.

Why visit the park? We hope the park will have something for everyone. From Glasgow’s oldest building at Provan Hall to the woodland trails at Drumpellier Country Park, and the bustling birdlife of Hogganfield Loch to the wetland wilderness of Commonhead Moss.

What’s planned? Over the coming years you’ll witness the development of this unique place. A network of signposted paths and trails will enable you to explore on foot, on bike, or even on horseback. New visitor facilities will host a range of activities to get you close to nature. Wildlife habitats will be improved, bird hides put up, and much more!

So whether you’re looking for family fun, walks, cycling, wildlife watching or just an escape from the stresses of urban life the Seven Lochs is a great place to go.
