Like it or not a BIG CHANGE in our day to day lives has been thrust on top of us….but we will survive.

Our part of the earth’s terra firma, known as the USA, is experiencing a whole lot craziness, confusion, frustration, turmoil and probably a lot of other adjectives right now. Your adjective usage is directly related to where in the USA you actually live these days.

Think about your grand parents back in December 1941. Their lives too were changed in a matter of minutes and hours, with the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the US entry into World War 2. Think about what they thought. How long will this last Will we be ok? What will we do? They only had a radio to listen to and the news unless it was a SPECIAL BULLITEN only came on at night. How did they ever make it without the internet and knowing something right away. Guess what...they made it!!

Covid-19, CORONAVIRUS or how ever you refer to it (we have heard some colorful names!) has twisted our lives and our world around about 720 degrees if you ask me! I think all of us really thought that this would pass quickly and not have the effect it has had so far. We as America have seen this kind of thing on the news in other countries, but not for a very long time has something like this landed on us.

They did tings differently and made do with the situation they were dealt with. Gas Rationing and other restrictions were in put place to help the country. Sure they didn't like it, not knowing when they could return to “normal life”...but they made the best of it. They dealt with “the today” and hoped for better the next day...and it happened...not right away but it happened

Now I am not choosing sides of real or fake, truth or lie or anything like that. You make up your mind on that.

We’re going to be alright too….

One thing I do see, and I hope I am wrong, but this thing and situation is going to be here for more than a while.

25 Years later...Bronco Returns! It's been 25 years since the last Ford Bronco was made. Ford is bringing the brand back, with the unveiling of three new off-road-oriented SUVs under the Bronco name. At an online event Monday night, Ford introduced the 2021 Bronco, which will come in a twoand a four-door version, and the smaller Bronco Sport. The new Broncos are engineered for hard off-road driving and include features designed to make it easier to get far from civilization and even stay there for a while. The Bronco, which will come in a two- and a four-door version, and the smaller Bronco Sport will compete directly with Fiat Chrysler's Jeep (FCAU) line of off-road vehicles. The market for rugged SUVs, which Jeep currently dominates, is growing twice as fast as SUVs overall, Ford executives have said. The larger Broncos will be available with 35-inch off-road tires and will be able to drive through water nearly 3 feet, 10 inches deep. It has independent front suspension, unlike its main competitor, the Jeep Wrangler. Independent suspension, used on almost all modern passenger vehicles, generally provides a smoother ride and better on-road handling than a single solid axle. It still has a solid axle in the back though, like most pickup trucks, a design suited to hard use. Like the Wrangler, both the two- and four-door Bronco will have a removable roofs and doors. Buyers will be able to choose either a hard roof that can be removed in sections, a cloth top, or both. Unlike the Wrangler, though, the Bronco's doors will fit inside the vehicle after being removed. Buyers will be able to choose from either a 181-horsepower 1.5 liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine or a 2.0-liter 245-horsepower 4-cylinder engine. Both engines will come with an eight -speed automatic transmission. In some versions, drivers will be able to select gears using steering wheel paddles. The Bronco Sport will be available later this year. The full-size Bronco won't be available until next spring, but Ford is taking $100 deposits immediately for both the Bronco and the Bronco Sport. Prices for the Bronco Sport will start at $26,660. Prices for the two-door Bronco will start at about $28,500 and $33,200 for the four-door. Ford has not yet announced pricing for the four-door Bronco or the Bronco Sport. 6

Stewart, Evernham Recreating IROC as Short-Track Series Remember the old IROC Series, where the best drivers from various disciplines raced each other in equally prepared cars? It ran for 30 seasons before Tony Stewart won its final championship in 2006 and the series quietly went away. Former stock car racer Tony Stewart is teaming up with NASCAR Hall of Famer Ray Evernham to recreate the IROC Series as a six-race, short-track series, the Associated Press has reported. Called ‘The Superstar Racing Experience (SRX),’ the field will be filled with 12 drivers from several disciplines, including NASCAR, IndyCar and up-and-coming short track racers. Evernham will prepare the cars, the design of which has yet to be finalized. Speeds aren’t expected to exceed 150 mph on half-mile tracks. The idea was driven by Evernham, eager to see a series that featured cars that don't rely on aerodynamics and reward mechanical grip and driver skill. The three-time championship winning crew chief and former team owner was able to talk the vision up to a group of supporters that includes former NASCAR executive George Pine, who also was President of IMG Sports before founding Bruin Sports Capital, as well as Sandy Montag, chairman of talent representation firm The Montag Group. It's an invigorating venture for both Evernham and Stewart, who have essentially been given a blank sheet of paper to create the type of racing they think will entice fans. Evernham doesn't expect speeds to exceed 150 mph on half-mile tracks, and he listed Stafford Motor Speedway in Connecticut, Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, New Smyrna Speedway in Florida, Eldora, Knoxville Raceway in Iowa and Terre Haute Action Track in Indiana as possible venues. Evernham would also like a road course and a modified oval on the schedule. “You know, drivers retiring and being out of the sport so young, we think there are guys who still want to race, still can race, but just don't want to run 200 mph,” Evernham said. SRX is planning for 90-minute races without pit stops — but a “halftime” for adjustments — in a 2-hour television window. Evernham believes drivers will arrive and draw for both their car and crew chief — which Evernham hopes comes from a pool of noted industry veterans. A short practice is planned and Evernham's team will be responsible for building and maintaining the cars. 7
