Our Donaupark Camping Tulln is located right in the meadowlands of the Danube river. 35 kilometres from the gates of Vienna, Tulln, Austria’s “Rose Capital”, invites you to enjoy a holiday filled with indulgence and culinary delights. Located along the Donauradweg cycling trail, at the entry point to the romantic Wachau region, this campsite is a great meeting and starting point for cyclists. Particularly popular are the cycling tours in all directions that are led by Franz and that usually culminate in a visit to a wine tavern and a glass of Grüner Veltliner! A bike rental service is available on site. The campsite makes a good base for exploring Vienna, with a dedicated shuttle bus taking you to the heart of the city and back again. Just a few steps away is an idyllic bathing lake with a beach bar, restaurant and plenty of nature. Entry is included in the accommodation price. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, head for the indoor pool that is two kilometres away or take a stroll through the old town of Tulln. POWER TO THE CHILDREN ADVENTURES FOR THE HEROES OF TOMORROW At the heart of Döbriach, on the northern shore of Lake Millstätter See in Carinthia, lies the Falkencamp of the Kinderfreunde, a six-hectare expanse with many shady trees and large meadows that invite you to play, relax, and let off steam. The generously dimensioned site has a lot to offer: a football pitch, campfire site, basketball and volleyball court, table tennis, bicycle rental, kiosk, and restaurant. The site is particularly recommended for families with children as well as school trips and holiday camps. Dogs are not permitted. Guests may choose to be fully self-catering, but they don’t have to be. A range of localities and shops may be reached on foot or by bicycle. To stave off the hunger pangs in between, buy an ice-cream, a snack, or a drink at the Café KIKO. Meals may be booked upon request. The lakeside beach is a five-minute walk away from the campsite and may be used exclusively by our Falkencamp guests. Highlight: Canoes may be borrowed on the beach! Tip: A boat ride on Lake Millstätter See is a must on any family holiday. The boats run according to schedule, but round trips and theme tours are also available.

Our campsite is structured into two zones, a sea zone and a hill zone, with a shuttle service running between the two at short intervals. The campsite with mobile homes and bungalows is located directly on the beach, in the bay of Santa Maria di Merino. Three bars, a swimming pool and a pizzeria are also located here. The hill zone is the preferred choice for sports enthusiasts and for all those looking for peace and quiet. Flood-lit tennis courts, swimming pools, a boccia alley, two bars and a fitness course are all located here. This beach is also a paradise for windsurfers and kitesurfers. If you’d like to give it a go, there is a surfing school directly on the campsite. By the way: Dogs are more than welcome here. The region also has plenty of adventures in store – prepare to be surprised by the variety of Puglia and the area around Vieste! The cuisine of Puglia is equally varied, not least due to the strong presence of fish and seafood. The former fishing village of Vieste also guarantees this. You can either travel to Puglia by car or by aeroplane – the closest airport is located in Foggia, one hour away from the campsite. A HOLIDAY BETWEEN FLAMINGOS AND SEA TURTLES Sardinia’s is Italy’s second-largest island after Sicily. It lies at a 180 km distance from the Italian mainland and may easily be reached by ferry. The neighbouring island of Corsica is within range of vision – these two beautiful Mediterranean islands are just 12 kilometres apart as the crow flies. Our campsite Bella Sardinia is located along Sardinia’s west coast, 20 km away from the nearest town of Oristano. The renowned, magnificent beaches of the Sinis peninsula are a 30-minute car ride away. 30 hectares and with a majestic pine forest, the campsite overlooks the long sand beach of Is Arenas, from where you can start out for Torre del Pozzo and S’Archittu. Pink flamingos and sea turtles live in this region, which is ideal for excursions by mountain bike (may be rented on site), on foot or on horseback. During the main season, we also offer guided trekking and cycling tours. Great food and lots of culture are also part of the equation. The campsite is the perfect location for unwinding. A swimming pool, wellness treatments, children’s pool, water slide, playgrounds, sports facilities and a mini club for our youngest guests are all part of our infrastructure, as are surfing facilities. Tip: Explore the many treasures of the mysterious island of Sardinia, for instance on a daytrip to the islands off the coast or the Sardinian mountains. The highest peak in Sardinia is the Punta la Marmora with an altitude of 1834 metres.

A camping holiday with the family is best spent in Istria, Croatia. Our 4-star campsite “Camping Park Umag” just past the Slovenian border is the ideal destination. It is Istria’s largest campsite and a holiday paradise for everyone, with a spacious pool complex with waterfalls and pirate ship, an adventure park and playground, pebble and rocky beaches along a seaside promenade. A wonderful location for savouring sunsets or enjoying a morning run. Dogs are welcome here! There are separate dog areas and a special beach section where your four-legged companion is able to cool down and enjoy the water. Umag is nine kilometres away and perfect for a day out, as are Novigrad, Koper, Pula, and Trieste. For a fine dining experience, head to the Old Town of Novigrad. At the campsite itself, there are restaurants, bars, shops, a supermarket, a fruit and vegetable stall and a First Aid station. Sports facilities include mini golf, tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball, SUP and bike rental, flyboat rental, jogging and hiking path, badminton, boccia, and a children’s animation programme during the summer months. Opportunities to go horse-riding or play golf as well as leisure parks are located in the local area. Tip: Visit Savudrija lighthouse, Croatia’s oldest lighthouse still in operation, located at the westernmost point in Croatia near Umag. Stories and myths surround this 36-metre lighthouse that was built in the early 19th century.

Camping Valkanela near Vrsar in Istria, Croatia, is located in a quiet bay, with a beach that affords wonderful views of Vrsar and the islands off the coast. Our campsite continuously reinvents itself and extends its offer of services and facilities. An attractive beach, the large pool complex, and the pristine green area next to the beach are the basic ingredients for keeping our guests happy. Embedded in a small island world, the sea here is perfect for bathing and ideal for children. The neighbouring towns and former fishing villages of Vrsar and Funtana may easily be reached on foot and offer wonderful dining experiences. Our campsite also offers buoys for small boats, a slipway and small harbour. The seaside location means that we are predestined for SUP adventures. All kinds of boats, jet skis and SUPs are available for rent on site. Shopping facilities at the campsite include a supermarket, several bakeries and numerous beach vendors. Restaurants, a pizzeria, and several bars are dotted across the campsite, with some of them being located directly on the beach. Live music in the evenings, animation throughout the day and a children’s club offering childcare are also part of our services. For daytrips, head to the Lim Fjord, Vrsar and the Old Town of Rovinj. Tip: Take a boat trip to the Lim Fjord from Vrsar and continue to Rovinj from there. With a little luck, you’ll encounter some dolphins on the way!

It is situated in an idyllic location in the south of Istria, not far from the city of Pula on the shore of the deep-blue Adriatic Sea. Medulin is one of the best-known resorts in the southern point of Istria and the perfect place for relaxing holidays close to nature. The Arena Grand Kažela campsite has steadily grown in popularity over the years and now offers its guests an unrivalled number of facilities and services. After Krk, Baška is the largest town on the island, linked to the mainland via a bridge. Whether you are travelling with family, friends, or your dog – our campsite offers the holiday programme that is right for you. We have a full-day animation programme for children between the ages of 3 and 12 as well as an evening programme with a children’s disco at least three times a week. While the little ones let of steam in the Maro Club, you may explore the hiking and cycling trails above Baška that run into the vineyards around Vrbnik, approximately twenty kilometres from Baška. In addition to the pool and water park, there is an adjacent pool with a water slide that may also be used by our guests for a surcharge. The neighbouring 1800-metre long pebble beach of Vela Plaža is the most popular beach on the island of Krk and comes with a range of water sports facilities, a diving and sailing school, a jet ski rental, bars, restaurants, ice-cream parlours, a separate dog beach and a nudist section. Every night, our campsite offers an exciting animation programme and live music. And later at night, enjoy a stroll through the Old Town of Baška. FEEL THE SUN ON YOUR SKIN A NUDIST HOLIDAY IN THE BAY OF BASKA The Bunculuka Camping Resort is just a short walk away from the centre of the town of Baška on the island of Krk in Croatia, in a remote location surrounded by rocks and Mediterranean shrubland, right next to a beautiful pebble beach. The campsite consists of terraced plots surrounded by spruce and acacia trees and stretching all the way down to the beach and the sea. The nudist beach comes with a lounger and sun umbrella rental and has a lifeguard on duty all day. Pets are welcome at the campsite, which also operates a separate dog beach. Guests at the nudist Bunculuka Premium Camping Resort may use the pools of the Corinthia Baška Sunny Hotel by Valamar free of charge. The modern bistro and the Lounge Boneta on the beach serve a delightful range of local specialties and cocktails. Our campsite is located on the west coast of island of Cres in Croatia and affords sea views from every accommodation unit, thanks to its terraced design. Enjoy a holiday in an oasis of Mediterranean greenery on one of Croatia’s largest Adriatic islands, together with Krk. Both in Tiha and Slatina bay, there are mobile homes of different categories available. The immediate vicinity to the stone beach in Slatina bay is an absolute highlight. Dogs are welcome here and allowed on the beach in specially marked sections. A dog trainer, groomer and vet regularly visit Camping Slatina. For its innovative project “Camping cum cane”, our campsite on Cres island received the yellow ADAC plaque in 2008. The project aimed at improving the sense of community among dog owners, dogs, and guests travelling without dogs. For instance, the campsite has dedicated dog beaches, dog showers, and information on the project available. To ensure that boredom doesn’t stand a chance, there are lots of things to do: diving, boat rental, taxi boats, volleyball, or a group daytrip with our guide Klaus. Croatia’s best campsite for a camping holiday with dogs also comes with a supermarket, a restaurant serving traditional Croatian cuisine, and a pizzeria. The Bijar campsite is located at the entrance to the historic town of Osor on the island of Cres, in the Kvarner bay region of Croatia. In terms of area, the campsite is rather small. It is located at the heart of a century-old spruce forest, in a slightly sloping, west-facing location towards the sea and around 500 metres from the narrow bridge that links Cres and Lošinj. Osor is the oldest settlement and first important town of the two islands. Our Camping Bijar is surrounded by a combination of rock and pebble beaches, ideal for swimmers, surfers, and canoeists. In 2009, the campsite was awarded the “Simpatia ed Ecologia” (attractiveness and environment) award by the Italian camper club. One reason for this success was the campsite’s plant-based wastewater treatment system. The biological wastewater treatment plant consists of three basins that are arranged in a cascade design. In biological, chemical, and physical processes, between 95 and 99% of the wastewater are purified. The Bijar campsite and its immediate surroundings provide many sports and leisure opportunities. There is also an animation team on site whose members compile a varied programme for the kids. Dogs are welcome here and are offered a separate beach section as well as showers on the campsite. If you fancy a change, take a trip to the island of Cres or to Mali Lošinj – you are located right between the two! Tip: Visit traditional restaurants and bars in nearby Osor and enjoy traditional Croatian lifestyle and culinary treasures.

NO STRESS ON CRES UNSPOILT NATURE, FAR FROM THE DAILY GRIND Our campsite Baldarin is located in the southernmost tip of the island of Cres, near the village of Punta Križa, far from the hustle and bustle of the everyday routine – the perfect destination for a relaxing holiday! Surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea, in an oasis between holly oak forests and olive groves, this is where you will find a peace and quiet that is unique even in Croatia. Punta Križa, the village near our Baldarin campsite, is an ancient shepherds’ base where several mountain paths crossed (Punta Križa = crosspoint). Active holidaymakers will also find plenty to do here: tennis, basketball, beach volleyball and mini golf are all on offer. The two-kilometre coastline is predominantly rocky, with structured beach access. Right at the entrance of our campsite lies the Bokinić pebble beach, ideal for swimming and playing and therefore popular with kids. In the nudist section at the end of the campsite, there is another pebble beach as well as the restaurant Lučica where you can sample the catch of the day. Tip: The nudist section is also home to a cave, adjacent to which there is another beach. This is an ideal place for relaxing and for listening to the sound of the waves.

HEAVEN ON EARTH A HOLIDAY ON CROATIA’S SUN ISLAND Camping Čikat is located in the picturesque bay with the same name, surrounded by a dense pine forest. A perfect destination for a family holiday near Mali Lošinj, the largest Croatian island. On the campsite and in the immediate vicinity, a multi-faceted sports and entertainment offer is available for all age groups: football, mini golf, a surfing and a diving school. Čikat is the largest campsite on the islands of Cres and Lošinj and is open all year round. Guests are now able to stay with us even during the winter months and experience the islands off-season. The San Marino Camping Resort is located on the island of Rab in Croatia – to be precise, on the peninsula of Lopar that is located just off the beautiful, 1500-metre long sand beach of Rajska Plaža (paradise beach). The campsite is located at a 12 km distance from the town of Rab and has everything your family needs for a great summer holiday. Children will love playing in the sand and at the shallow water’s edge. Adults can chill on the beach while sipping a cocktail or treat themselves to an aromatherapy massage in the state-of-the-art wellness and beauty centre. A SPECIAL KIND OF HOLIDAY CROATIA DOES SAND BEACHES, TOO Our Camping Strasko is located on the island of Pag in Dalmatia, Croatia, a mere 15-minute walk away from the town of Novalja. The campsite is surrounded by a forest of Dalmatian oak trees, spruce and olive trees that provide shade. The 2-kilometre sand beach is among the island’s most beautiful beaches and borders directly onto our campsite and outdoor pool area. There is also a separate nudist section as well as a dog beach. Camping Strasko has a flood-lit tennis court, multi-purpose ball courts, Aerobics and Yoga classes and a fitness lounge. In addition, guests may rent motor scooters, motorboats and bicycles to explore the area around the campsite, either on land or at sea. When it comes to wining and dining, Camping Strasko has it all: Start your morning with a coffee at the beach bar, listening to the sound of the waves, or bring the day to a harmonious close with a drink while watching the sunset. Southern Dalmatia is the perfect destination for your holiday in Croatia. The site has a slight incline and lots of pleasant shade thanks to the abundant pine trees. The beach is one kilometre long and alternates between pebble and rock, always bordering on the crystal-clear sea. Our Gebetsroither caravans are placed in the very first row, directly by the sea. The campsite is located at the mouth of the Žrnovnica river, surrounded by a natural forest. Our campsite borders onto the ocean on two sides, each of them with a largely shallow pebble beach and several jetties. The wider region is also worth exploring, and our campsite offers organised excursions into the unique landscape around Split on a daily basis. This is a great opportunity to get to know Croatia from its tastiest side. In addition to the pool complex and the wellness area, there are restaurants, bars, cafés, playgrounds, and sports fields. Action heroes will also be spoilt for choice in the surrounding area: Stand-up paddling, rafting, river tubing or a session at the nearby paintballing centre are just a few of the options on offer. Camping Dole is located in Blato, in the south of Dalmatia and at the foot of Bikovo mountain, shaded by pine and fig trees. Our campsite is happy to welcome you and your dog, for whom our region has quite a few adventures in store. On two legs or on four, boredom doesn’t stand a chance here. The region around the campsite is ideal for cycling tours and hikes in Biokovo National Park. High rockfaces tower above the far side of the campsite, with the turquoise-blue sea at the opposite end – just the way we like it in Croatia! A unique setting for a holiday between the mountains and the sea. The pebble beach that borders onto our campsite is 700 metres long and does relaxation just as well as adventure. There are tennis and boccia courts on the campsite and a surfing and diving school nearby. For explorers and adventures, island-hopping between the islands of Korčula, Hvar and Brač is just the ticket. A holiday in this breathtaking region of the Makarska Riviera will make all your dreams come true. On the 45 km-long coastal road, picturesque villages nestle between the deep blue sea and the rocky coastline. A gem when it comes to beauty, peace, culinary highlights, and hospitality!
