Elephant Island Leo Timmers
Arnold had always been a seafaring elephant. He considered the sea his friend, but one day a boisterous wave sank his boat.
Luckily, Arnold had a built-in snorkel.
After many hours, he bumped into a tiny island.
Arnold remembered an ancient mariner’s poem.
“Alone, alone, all, all alone, Alone on a wide wide sea!”
Shipwrecked Arnold the Elephant washes up on a tiny island. After a long time, a mouse comes to the rescue, but Arnold is too big! Clever Arnold uses the mouse boat wreckage to expand the island. Elephant Island gets bigger and bigger— and too much fun to leave for home.
