Work Experience: 2013 Oct - 2014 Jul | UAB “L&G Projektai”, Marijampole, Lithuania:
• Working with Revit and AutoCAD as an Architectural Assistant, producing planning documents, details, visualizations and physical models and arranging information for presentations and archives. Mainly working on bespoke individual houses 200-300m² each. Other projects involved a Warehouse design and designing a Museum for a competition.
2015 Jun - 2017 Sept | Connections Design Group, Cardiff, Wales:
• Primarily working with AutoCAD and Sketchup as an Architectural Assistant producing Planning Drawings, Building Regulation Drawings and various visualizations explaining the design to clients. • Taught the Senior Architect Revit and its value when they were preparing to transition to the software. • Projects involved: Mostly Extensions, Alterations and Loft Conversions of terraced houses in the UK ranging from ~100 - 250m², £100,000 - 400,000. Alterations and conversions of Historic Buildings into apartments and penthouses (some have additional new housing on the plot): former HSBC Bank at Cardiff Bay, Porth Library in Porth, Suffolk House in Cardiff. Others include a Nursery ; final stages of Crwys Road student housing ; New housing development - 120 1-2 bed flats and homes of various density in Cardiff ; 20 2 bed apartments in Llanelli ; Various individual 1-4 bedroom housing in difficult corner plots around Cardiff ; Luxury house extension, additions and landscaping in Cotswolds.
Skills: Highly trained in developing and representing architectural ideas using a wide variety of mediums such as physical and computer modeling, sketching, drafting, analyzing and mixing the mediums for best effect. My greatest strength lies in knowledge of computer software and pursuit in latest technologies, and creatively combining this with analogue architectural techniques.
Computer Skills: Highly efficient in: AutoCAD, Revit + Dynamo, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Rhino + Grasshopper,
Sketchup + Layout. Good knowledge of: ArchiCAD, 3DS Max, V-Ray (3DS Max and Rhino). Basic knowledge of: Python (Programming language), Vectorworks, Processing (Java)
Craftsmanship: Physical architectural modeling using variety of materials and creative techniques including soldering and welding. Ownership of a 3D printer and efficient use of it.
Visual Arts: Efficient in hand-sketching, Architectural hand drafting, life drawing.
