I am delighted to tell you that ICIS is now a subsidiary of the Mental Health Helplines Partnership (mhhp). mhhp is a national charity that recently merged with The Helplines Association to become the leading UK body supporting and enabling helplines to provide the best quality services for their users. Being part of the mhhp group brings exciting new opportunities for ICIS. As well as using our skills and resources to help support mhhp’s growth, their resources, financial investment and national platform will enable us to develop our ICIS database and IT products outside of West Sussex and take our expertise to a national level. We will operate as a social enterprise to deliver our well-established county information services and projects from the East Preston premises; and will seek to develop and run new services in West Sussex as the need and opportunity arise. After a year of uncertainty this is great news for ICIS, and for the people of West Sussex. We thank all our colleagues and supporters and look forward to a successful future.
