YOUR ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO THE LYTHAM PROMS WEEKEND
We look forward to welcoming you to Lytham Proms. We ask that you abide by the following guidelines that are designed to assist you throughout the concert.
SEATING
This is an outdoor, general admission, standing concert. For those customers that require it we will have an area that you are permitted to bring in ONE SMALL FOLDING CHAIR per person. This area is towards the rear of the arena and is subject to capacity. Please note, customers who stand up during the concert will not be asked to sit down.
WEATHER
The concert will not be cancelled in the event of inclement weather so be sure to bring suitable clothing for all weather conditions. This includes sunscreen! Please do not bring umbrellas as they are not permitted into the concert area as they restrict the view of others.
REFRESHMENTS
A range of catering facilities will be available serving a variety of food and drink within the venue. Please do not try and bring Food and Drink into the venue on Friday or Saturday as this will be removed by the stewards and disposed of.
CAMERAS & RECORDING
Small hand-held cameras are permitted. Professional cameras, visual & audio recording equipment are not permitted and should not be brought to the concert.
FIRST AID
A First Aid point is situated within the venue and is clearly signposted. Any steward will be pleased to direct you there.
DISABLED INFO
There will be a dedicated disabled viewing area in the concert arena. Disabled ticket holders will be directed to the disabled area. A maximum of 1 wheelchair guest and 1 carer per booking is allowed within this area in order that we may accommodate all of our guests. Please proceed to Gate D to gain entry to the arena. Please pre-purchase disabled tickets to avoid disappointment.

• Do not attempt to use any audio or visual recording equipment. • Do not leave valuables on display in your vehicle. • Do not purchase from unlicensed traders outside the venue offering counterfeit goods. • Do not arrive before the gate opening time of 5.00pm • Do not bring an umbrella • Do not bring your own food and drink into the event. Bag searches will be in operation.
ACCESS
The car park will open at 4.00pm. Please don’t arrive earlier as you won’t be allowed access. Please book your car parking in advance at www.ticketline.co.uk or call 0844 888 9991. Gates to the arena will open at 5.00pm. If you have purchased General Admission tickets please proceed to the gate specified on your ticket upon arrival. If you have purchased disabled area tickets please proceed to Gate D upon arrival.
DIRECTIONS - BY CAR
Continue down the M55 and you will arrive at a roundabout with a metal sculpture in the centre. Bear left and at the next round about take the 3rd exit towards Blackpool International Airport. Head down Progress Way and onto Squires Gate Lane passing Blackpool International Airport on your left. Continue along Squires Gate Lane over the bridge and take a left at the traffic lights. Now on Clifton Drive keep on this road for approx 5 miles until you reach Lytham Green and the Proms! Please pre-purchase car parking at £5 for each car online at www.ticketline.co.uk
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Lytham Train Station is located in the centre of the town and a 5 min walk from the festival site. There are hourly trains running from Preston Train Station to Blackpool South Station, stopping at Lytham on this route. If heading into Blackpool North you can get to Lytham by taxi or bus. Customers who attempt to enter via the incorrect gate will not be able to gain entry and will have to re-queue at the correct gate… so check your ticket carefully to avoid any unnecessary waiting time. We have a new entrance policy for 2014 so please look at your ticket and the map carefully.
TIMES
We do not publish stage times as these are subject to change on the day of the event. Various factors on the day such as weather can affect if an act goes on early or late, and therefore to avoid confusion or disappointment, we cannot publish the times. Each night the gates open at 5pm and the concert concludes between 10.30pm and 11pm.
RE-ADMISSION
Once inside the arena we do not allow readmission. Please check you have everything with you before entering.
TICKETS
Your ticket is your ticket for entry. Proceed straight to the ticket scanners at the gate printed on your ticket. Customers collecting tickets should park their car first, or be dropped off. The Box Office is located on East Beach (next to Lytham Windmill) next to Gate A.

If you wish to purchase any extra concert tickets the box office will be open from Tuesday 29th July onwards (10am -5pm and until 9pm on festival days). If you are collecting a ticket that you have previously bought you can do so from 3pm on the day. Please note, we are unable to re-print lost or stolen tickets, so please keep your tickets safe.
