Men’s fashion, according to Valentino isn’t complicated. But when it comes to pulling off a suit and making it look hot, it’s all about the details, the 70’s are back. Think two-piece suits with thinner ties that are fitted and tapered to the body. The trend now is for suits that have less fabric and fewer buttons. The idea here is that less is more. It’s more of a European look men are going for. “There’s a big movement toward healthy living now, and guys want to show that they look healthy,” Valentino said. “For that, the fitted, proportional suit is what they’re going for. It’s not about the loose, baggy clothing anymore.”If you’re looking for inspiration, the Al Capone look is hot this year, as men are dressing in suits reminiscent of mobsters, with polka-dot ties and sleek, slender looks. When pairing ties with a suit, Eloundou said thinking outside the box is definitely the way to go. It’s OK to mix paisley with polka dots, or wear a different colored jacket that contrasts with the pants, whether they’re solid or patterned. Accessories are a musthave, as they are used to bring out individual style, whether it’s the tie, shirt selection or pocket square. Eloundou’s tip: Be bold. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns. A pocket square doesn’t necessarily have to match the shirt. The contrast shows off your colorful style and individuality.

Oh, the joys of sex and relationships. Some men know what they want from awoman, while others are still trying to discover their boundaries. After surveying agroup of young men, we found out that men like their lady to be a lady on thestreet as well as in the bedroom, while some men prefer a lady in the streets and an uninhibited sex vixen behind closed doors. Physical Attraction The face is always a given when you meet someone, but this year it’s all about a woman’s height and the “ass.” Of course, attraction varies from person to person, but tall women with perfectly shaped derrières out numbered the face and boobs when it comes to physical attraction. Who knew? Relationship Needs Men want self-sufficient, secure and confident women. But just because you’reconfident doesn’t mean you need to be conservative. Men want a woman who knows what she wants and knows how to have a good time. If a guy is givingyou all of his time and attention, then there’s no need for jealousy. Yep, most men vow to cut the cord when a woman is considered to be the “jealous type.” Sexual Wants Nipples, nipples, nipples. Not yours, ladies, the men are all about foreplay, and it’s all about taking care of his nipples. Sucking, licking and even biting on a man’s nipples is a sure-fire way to relax and arouse him. But you don’t have to wait until you’re having sex to play with his nipples. Give his nipples a quick tug after he’s been working out, in the shower or first thing in the morning, and watch his facelight up as if his favorite sports team has just won a game.

The Manhattan. Men have been opting for the Manhattan since 1870. History suggests that the drink originated at the Manhattan Club in New York City in the early 1870s. It was invented by Dr. Iain Marshall for a banquet hosted by Jennie Jerome (also known as Lady Randolph Churchill, Winston Churchill's mother) in honor of the presidential candidate Samuel J. Tilden. The Manhattan is a popular and classic whiskey and sweet vermouth cocktail. When properly built, the Manhattan is the only cocktail that can slug it out toe-to-toe with the martini. It's bold and fortifying, yet as relaxing as a deep massage, and gents can’t seem to get enough of them. Combine the vermouth, bourbon whiskey, and bitters with 2 - 3 ice cubes in a mixing glass. Stir gently, don't bruise the spirits and cloud the drink. Place the cherry in a chilled cocktail glass and strain the whiskey mixture over the cherry. Try a white or light-colored, tight-fitting button down shirt. Finish the look off with desert boots in a light color. If you think the look is too formal for the event, use your discretion and wear a deconstructed cotton jacket or Harrington coat. Remember, you want to make a good impression so it’s better to be safer than sorry.
Casual If you’re grabbing lunch or heading to a show, you want to opt for an outfit that is functional yet fashionable. It makes no sense to wear a full blown tuxedo, but at the same time you do not want to look like you just rolled out of bed in any old T-shirt. For the laidback gentleman, a suit might be a bit over dressy for your date. Instead, try exchanging your suit jacket for a fitted cardigan and play with separates that will show your bold style. Fashionable Date If you’ve booked reservations at the hottest restaurant that takes a 3-months advanced notice, you’re going to want to wear something appropriate. Because this is definitely an important night with an important person, dress the part! Wear a suit but skip the traditional suit accessories like a belt and tie. A suit made of gray tweed, khaki cotton, or brown hopsack can be the perfect fabrics to choose from. For a touch of unique flair, add a striped shirt or colored shirt and pair it with brown or taupe loafers. Since it is the spring and summer seasons, patterns are always a good idea.
Just don’t go crazy and decide to show off your intense artistic flair. Choose a simple pattern such as thin stripes or small polka dots. After all, you want your personality to shine first off. Finish the look off with dark brown leather lace up shoes or even a pointed-toe shoe. The possibilities are limitless, but remember that your date will be impressed with your shoes, so don’t skimp out on choosing a fashionable, sturdy pair! Sometimes, the formal event might be easier to dress for than a casual event. Your go-to will be a dark indigo or navy suit, a man’s wardrobe staple. Regardless of season, a dark blue color will be classy all year around. Ditch your black suit, as it is way too stiff and boring for the occasion. Pair it with a closed front French cuff white dress shirt to match and a classy black bow tie. If you’re feeling daring, you might even pair the suit with a blue shirt instead. Don’t forget that accessories play a big role in any outfit too. A nice pocket square can add interest to your entire outfit without having to change your entire look. A wristwatch can add that final touch of class that ties your entire outfit together.

More and more Josephine Baker people enjoy the taste of a well-brewed beer rather than a corporate company beer. And with its expansion come the many breweries in every city and every corner. Lucky for you we have put together 10 of the most star rated breweries in the OC area.

1. The Bruery Located in the city of Placentia this very well known brewery holds its high standards by there well crafted beers and the long selection of seasonal, sour and year round beers. Founded in 2008 only 7 years old, it has grown tremendously in satisfaction. They brew dozens of original beers each year with their own list of ingredients and inspirations growing perpetually. Their collection of oak barrels has also become a primary element of the brewery. Nearly half of their beer is aged in wine or spirit barrels bringing forth flavors reminiscent of the Belgian countryside or classic American distillers.
2. Bottle Logic Brewing A very tasteful brewery located in Anaheim, this local brewery has a very unique feel to it. With handmade stools that look like beer barrels, and fancy taste beer placement, to the décor on the walls with awesome posters, and a small library, the brewery feels very homy and welcomes all beer lovers to have a taste. Although they don’t sell food inside they have a different food truck everyday where you are welcome to buy and bring in your food to enjoy with your well-crafted beer. With a long selection of beer, you are welcome to taste each one with their taste option of 6 different beers at a time. 3. Noble Ale Works With its unbeatable prices, Noble Ales brewery is definitely a hidden gem. Located in Anaheim behind warehouses, this small brewery offers a cozy place to drink. With its unique beer and beer names such as “Naughty Sauce� which has great reviews, it is a definitive must try. With plenty of parking, customers have nothing to complain about. They enjoy the small space and the unique crafted beers and so will you!
4. Valiant Brewing Company
A newer brewery to the neighborhood of Orange, it has become the to go to spot to many of the community. With a testing room with about 10 different original beers to try, it has become really popular to come and taste. The brewery is only open Thursday-Saturday offering a food truck calendar on there website to provide there customers with a different menu every night. With an older and mature crowd, it is definitely worth visiting for there original beers.
5. Phantom Ales A very active brewery to the brewing community, Phantom Ale is located in Anaheim. This unique brewery not only offers original tastings of their beers but also sells the ingredients to make your own. Encouraging all beer lovers to create and brew their own beers. With monthly homebrew competitions, this brewery wants to get you involved in the brewing community. It not only offers a small market of ingredients but also a very tasty kitchen, where you can order delicious appetizers and finger food to accompany their delicious beer. GentlemensGuideOC.com 19
6. Karl Strauss Brewing Company With a variety of beers to choose from with original, and very known brews, Karl Strauss is certainly a place to dine and drink. Offering a delicious gourmet menu, it is definitely fancy. But it doesn’t loose its cool ambiance, as everyone is very casual and friendly. With three different locations, this one in particular is in Costa Mesa, offering great service and friendly staff.
7. Anaheim Brewery Open a couple hours a day, and of course longer hours on weekends this brewery is different from most. With a testing room available to try their original beers, it also has a picnic area where you can sit and enjoy classic board games, or simply enjoy a wistful conversation with friends. A very simple feel to it, but welcoming, has the crowd coming back for more. Located in Anaheim right across from the packing district.
8. Brewbakers With a very beachy vibe, Brewbakers is located in Huntington Beach. One of the few breweries in the area that lets you brew your own beer, label it and package it. Yes! You can brew your own. It takes an evening to brew 12 but you have to come back in 6 weeks to try your final product. 9. Old Orange Brewing Company Not a very big brewery or popular among non-locals but it is without doubt one to try as it has a neighborhood bar feel to it, located in the home of Orange. A lot of regulars come through their doors and enjoy the sports on the Television but welcomes all outsiders to come try their craft beers. Only open Friday- Sunday, it is definitely good to come, have a couple of brews and continue on with your day.
10. Beach City Brewery With their beer collection only growing, this is probably the only brewery in Huntington Beach where all there beer selection has great reviews. People come here for the friendly services and immediately become regulars as the amazing taste of their wellproduced beers lures them back every time.

fter years of deliberation on how to appropriately use the land left behind by the United States Marines in 1999, the city of Irvine and Orange County have come to an agreement on how to utilize the Marine Corps Air Station El Toro land.

Orange County Great Park
After the United States Marines left the Marine Corps Air Station El Toro in Irvine, California conversations began discussing what would take over that historic land and bring in revenue to the city of Irvine while also preserving the beauty of the area. It was during these conversations that the Orange County Great Park was born. Covering approximately 1,300 acres north of the 5 and 405 freeway junction in the foothills, this park will be an arts and sports recreational hub that includes 80 fields for various sports such as soccer, baseball, basketball, rugby, lacrosse and even

cricket. Alongside these fields will be the 24 tennis courts, five volleyball courts, three “championship” stadiums and a playground. The city of Irvine and its public-private partner, Five Point Communities, hope to create a “metropolitan oasis” in Irvine that will combine the glorious wilderness areas with museums, shops and 9,500 new homes that will cover land that is three times the size of San Diego’s Balboa Park. This oasis will span 713 acres of parkland and 194 acres for the sports complex that will be the new permanent home to the Orange County Soccer Club. Irvine Councilwoman, Christina Shea said, “The sports complex will be the anchor of what promises to be the heart of Orange County.” The entirety of the sports park will be completed by the fall of 2019.

Orange County Soccer Club went through a complete revamping of their brand this past offseason with a new ownership, name, home field and colors as well as new jerseys. The 23-member squad, formerly known as the Orange County Blues is looking forward to moving into their new home stadium, one of the many athletic fields in Irvine’s Orange County Great Park. Their new stadium will feature natural turf and will be able to house up to 5,000 fans to watch Orange County SC compete in the 30-team United Soccer

League. The United Soccer League is a Division II professional league—one level under Major League Soccer. Orange County SC has gained popularity in the area after their recent success and playing their home games at Anteater Stadium in Irvine in past season. Jame Keston, the chief investment officer of LARO Properties in Los Angeles, purchased the club last year after the Orange County Blues reached back-to-back Western Conference semifinals in 2015 and 2016 and winning the conference two years ago. This success allowed the Orange County SC to establish a partnership with 2018 MLS expansion club, Los Angeles Football Club. This partnership will allow the Division I professional club to send players up and down between LAFC and OCSC. This project, though it will takes years and many millions of dollars to complete, will create a family-friendly hub of entertainment, events and activities that will serve the community for many generations to come.

he Los Angeles Lakers have been having a fiscal season this year. The team currently is 10th out of 15 in the Western Conference with 9 wins and 15 loses. On December 7th the Lakers were able to break their losing streak by defeating the Philadelphia 76ers with only a short lead with the final score of 107-104. Then, on December 9th, they succeeded in taking down the Hornets with another short lead. Although there is a small improvement from last year’s season, there are some noticeable factors that are playing a key role as to why the Lakers are having an off-season. From outside sources, inexperienced leaders, to a young rookie roster, these factors all influence the Lakers’ current situation.

The Rookies Assist in Laker’s Turnover
This season, the Los Angeles Lakers’ roster has a noticeable number of rookies and
young players. These young and fresh players bring their best to the court, but their best might not be enough when it comes to the NBA playoffs. Young players such as Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle and Lonzo Ball have played a huge role on the team. They have showed that they have clearly made improvement since last season, but still there is a long way to go if the team plans on winning a championship anytime soon. Lonzo Ball has proven to be both a fan favorite and a flop. In the beginning of his official start as a Laker, the 20-year-old showed great potential and proved to be a great asset to the Lakers. But with such high expectations set for Ball, every mistake he makes is scrutinized and he is labeled as player who is not ready for the

professional field or a player who was overhyped and has no talent to show for. Brandon Ingram was another player that showed to be a great addition to the Lakers. Although in the beginning of the season he didn’t make much wave, it is now a whole different story. In the recent games, Ingram has shown that he has definitely improved. He scored the winning basket when the Lakers won against the Philadelphia 76ers. Not to mention in the latest game in his hometown against the Hornets, he was able to score 18 points- not the best, but a noticeable improvement.

Kyle Kuzma, 22, is also a rookie that proves he is here to play and here to stay. He was named the Western Conference rookie of the month recently. He ranks third in points per game and has displayed his talent for outside shooting. Nonetheless, there is room for improvement, but at his current rate there is no doubt that he will continue to have a solid rookie year.
Rookie Players, Rookie Coach
A former Los Angeles Laker himself, Luke Walton, was officially named the head coach for the Lakers in April of 2016. He currently holds three NBA championships,
with one as a coach. Walton began his coaching career in 2011 for a college basketball team and later was hired as assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors, where he was able to help lead them to a championship, which is where his third NBA championship came from. Although he helped the Warriors win, Laker fanatics believe that Luke Walton does not have the experience needed to coach the Lakers. This is the first time that he is a head coach and leading a team, so many fear he does not have what it takes to be the coach, which is why he receives harsh criticism. When a post related to head coach Luke Walton was posted to the team’s Twitter account, comments like “Worst coach in the NBA” and “Fire him already” flooded in, and there were little to no comments of support for the coach. After facing harsh criticism after loses, Walton is upset but admits that at the same time he is content because the team is doing better and making progress when compared to last year’s season. When looking to the current scores, their improvement might not be that noticeable. But last December, the Los Angeles Lakers only managed to win 2 games in the entire month. This year, the team has already won 2 games; with 10 more scheduled games for the remaining month of December 2017.
Off The Court and Out of Bounce
Most recently, outside events have been derailing attention from the actual Lakers team to just one member and his family. Lonzo Ball’s father LaVar Ball who has been making headlines for his game outburst, blunt opinions, and family drama. But, during the past week there has been more tension as LaVar’s other son LiAngelo Ball, who was arrested in China for shoplifting. Following the arrest, LaVar ignited a Twitter feud with President Donald Trump when Trump called LaVar ungrateful, claiming that if the president did not get involved then his son and the other UCLA Basketball team members caught, would have been in greater trouble. A short time later LaVar pulled his son LiAngelo out of UCLA claiming that he wants to get his son ready for the NBA drafts. LaVar is constantly at the home games and with that, he draws attention, which is why the Staples Center has implemented a new policy forbidding the media form engaging with the family members of the team. Many call this new policy the “LaVar Ball Rule” due to the fact that the media would pester and push LaVar Ball regarding his sons arrest and his Twitter war with the president. n

Despite all the success and fame he enjoys and relishes today, his early childhood was not the best. However, it certainly shaped him into the gentleman he is today.

Pitbull’s Cuban mother raised him alone after she decided to separate from Pitbull’s father because of his involvement with drug dealers. In Pitbull’s teen years, his mother made the hard decision of kicking Pitbull out of her home after learning that he too, started peddling drugs. But while 46 GentlemensGuideOC.com
In his biography, Pitbull: Mr. Worldwide, he discussed the reason why he chose the stage name ‘Pitbull”. He says,” "Pit bull’s bite to lock," and added, "The dog is too stupid to lose. And they're outlawed in Dade County (Florida). They're basically everything that I am. It's been a constant fight.” Later on in his career, he also started to announce himself as Pitbull Mr.305 Mr. Worldwide. The reason he referred to himself as Mr.305 is because it is the area code for Miami and he wanted to represent where he is from. He takes pride in where he grew up because the culture he witnessed and obstacles he faced made him the man that he is today. As for Mr. Worldwide, that name is a representation of his desire and goal to become known worldwide as an artist.
Staying True To His Cuban Roots
Pitbull never forgets to thank his parents for constantly reminding him to stay in contact with his Cuban heritage. Pitbull’s parents immersed him into Cuban music from artists such as Jose Marti, Celia Cruz, and Willy Chirino. Jose Marti is a Cuban national hero and poet. After completing his graduation, he immediately began to work and focus on his music. But while growing up Pitbull was also drawn to the Miami Bass genre of pop music called Crunk. Lil Jon, who at the time was accepted as the master of Crunk, took Pitbull under his wing and even featured him in his album 'Kings of Crunk' in 2002.

There's something about a man who at every turn shows up with a suit on -- and will sweat for two hours in it. He's committed, man."
Not Just A Musician
Pitbull is not one to forget where he came from and the struggles that he faced. He admits to his troubled youth and because of that he has formed charities and founded a charter school to help the youth stay out of trouble and dedicate time to their education. When advocating for his school he said, “If we catch them at that little age, mold their minds, teach them what it is to be motivated, self-inspired, believe in themselves because coming from the neighborhood we came from no one believed in us, this is changing the world little by little." The Sports Leadership and Management Academy (SLAM) is Pitbull's public charter school located in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood. Either way, you’ll enjoy the same payoffs: more muscle, fewer injuries, and a body that seems tailormade for slim-fit shirts.
1 Biceps
Dumbbell Incline Curl The incline positions your arms behind you, allowing you a greater range of motion that you’d get with a standard curl, says Martin Rooney, founder of Training for Warriors. Do This: Lie on an incline bench and let the weights hang at arm’s length, palms forward. Curl the weights, pause, lower them halfway, pause 5 seconds, and finish lowering. (10 reps)
2 Chest
Neutral-Grip Dumbbell Bench Press “Dumbbells don’t lock in your arms like a barbell, so your stabilizing muscles work harder,” says Joe Dowdell, CEO of Peak Performance. Do This: Lie on a flat bench and hold a pair of dumbbells over your chest, palms facing in. Lower the dumbbells to the sides of your chest. Pause, then press them back up. (10 reps)

Half-kneeling Rotational Cable Chop “This exercise trains your core for exactly what it’s designed to do: provide stability and transfer power across multiple planes of motion,” says Dowdell. Barbell Front Squat with Heels Elevated “Elevating your heels helps keep your torso upright, reducing the chance of a lower-back injury,” says Dowdell. It also increases the load on your quads. Do This: Sit on the floor, your upper back against a bench, a padded barbell across your hips. Squeeze your glutes and raise your hips so your body is straight from shoulders to knees.
