Reliable products and a good feeling The days when foil-wrapped chipboard was automatically regarded as inferior are long gone. Today's chipboards, such as triple layer panels, have extremely dense outer panels which also make them very loadable. They are covered in a melamine resin-coated paper foil and pressed together under heat and pressure. The result is an extremely strong, scratch-resistant and resilient material that is particularly notable for its easy maintenance. Water staining or bleaching, as it may occur for instance on solid wood and veneers, is reduced to a minimum. Melamine

resins are safe for use with food and are also used very widely in the manufacture of items such as camping or microwave dishes. Nearly all of our free standing cabinets have "ABS edges". These plastic trims prevent gaps from occurring along the edges of individual foils where dust, dirt or water can collect and cause the foils to work loose. This could then result in a separation of the foil. ABS stands for acrylonitrile butadiene styrene and is widely chosen for its surface hardness and scratch resistance. Its other most common

This way, you can be sure that your furniture will give you lasting satisfaction and pleasure - and also survive the occasional house move when properly handled.

In all of our upholstered furniture, the load-bearing parts are made of very strong solid wood. We make every effort to achieve maximum sitting comfort from the upholstery on seats and backs. As a general rule, upholstery and cushions become softer once they have been used a few times. However, please bear in mind that we all have different ideas of comfort and that true "well-being" will always vary from case to case. All our seats have Nosag springing which produces a different level of firmness depending on furniture design.

The visual impression and firmness of upholstery and springs are always matched to each other. This is why seat firmness varies from one product model to the next. Seat and back cushions should be turned regularly wherever possible. This will extend their lifespan and the material will wear more evenly. Regularly shake loose cushions. With regard to upholstered furniture with fittings, the particular function must be handled with care. For instance, an adjustable armrest is designed to support a maximum

load of 15 kg. We offer about 60 different fabric and leather models. We attach the greatest importance to modern materials and designs and the best quality and use only rigorously durability-tested materials and leather. Our current collection can be seen on page 188â&#x20AC;&#x201C;189.
