A warm welcome to the Arte M room center! The Arte M room center is our trade fair and exhibition centre, event location, conference venue and marketing centre. For several years now, the former tennis hall has been the venue for all Arte M events. No matter whether it's the annual in-house exhibition, "room days", conferences or company events held by our partners or specialist clients, local club and association functions, fire drills, boxing galas or casino events. Of course, we also use the 2.500 or so square metres of floor space for presenting all the latest home furnishing concepts and trends from our latest product line-up. You can also find inspiration for your home or look for specific products in our room center, and then purchase them through our specialist retailers. Our specialist team at the room center will be pleased to offer your detailed advice and guidance. We will use the FURNPLAN programme to prepare a 3D furnishing plan for you, including floors, wall colours, and a choice of decorative accessories - all in accordance with your wishes. You will receive a colour print-out and list of items, so you can order your favourite items from the retailer of your choice. You will find an initial impression of our room center at www.arte-m.de. The excellent characteristics of foil-wrapped chipboard are well known. We use triple layer panels which have extremely dense outer panels that make them very hard. They are coated in a melamine resin-coated paper foil and pressed together under heat and pressure. The result is an extremely strong, scratch-resistant and resilient material that is also particularly notable for its easy maintenance. Water staining or bleaching as may occur, for instance, on solid wood and veneers, is reduced to a minimum. Melamine resins are safe for use with food. They are very widely used in, for instance, the manufacture of items such as camping or microwave dishes.

Nearly all of our free cabinet furniture have "ABS edges" (acrylonitrilebutadiene-styrene). These plastic trims prevent gaps from occurring along the edges of individual foils where dust, dirt or water can collect and cause the foils to work loose. Its other most common use is in the production of high-quality household and kitchen appliances. We always use metal fittings on all load-bearing areas of our furniture. This way, you can be sure that your furniture will give you lasting satisfaction and pleasure and - with proper use - will also survive the occasional house move. 42 | 43

BEST QUALITY

In all of our upholstered furniture, the load-bearing parts are made of very strong solid wood. We make every effort to achieve maximum sitting comfort from the upholstery on seats and backs. As a general rule, upholstery and cushions become softer once they have been used a few times. However, please bear in mind that we all have different ideas of comfort and that true "wellbeing" will always vary from case to case.

All our seats have Nosag springing which produces a different level of firmness depending on furniture design. The visual impression and firmness of upholstery and springs are always matched to each other. This is why seat firmness varies from one product model to the next.

Seat and back cushions should be turned regularly wherever possible. This will extend their lifespan and the material will wear more evenly. Regularly shake loose cushions. With regard to upholstered furniture with fittings, the particular function must be handled with care. For instance, an adjustable armrest is designed to support a maximum load of 15kg.

We offer a wide range of fabrics and leather finishes. Selecting our materials, we attach particular importance to contemporary designs and the best quality, and we only use fabrics and leathers that have been tested to show tremendous durability.
