For the third year running Chris Revett and Cum blast are proViding th e young bands to entertain you on Friday night
Chris is moving on after this year's festival so we wish him all the best and we're quite sure he 'll go out on a high.
On Saturday the parade will, as for the last few years, be led by the classic cars, followed by th e walkers and the floats.
If you want to have a better look at the classic cars th ey will be found at the fur end of th e park after the parade is over.
The presentations for th e p arade and fancy dress will follow on the stage and these in turn will give way to th e dance
acts and th en the bunds, headlined by the 6Ts.

This year has a Top of the Pops theme; so please come dressed in the clothes of your favou rite pop era and just
maybe you will find yourself winning the coveted fancy dress competition.

Sunday is " Picnic in the Park" with "'/ing, songs from the shows and Jazz, all culminating in the ever popular sound of
the Alan Norris Big Band. (If it rains thiS will be held in St Peters Church over the road.)
A big welcome this year to a new compere, Gary Tustin who comes very highly recommended. I should say however
that fans of our previous compere are in for a"'special tr eat as john Whiteh ead is back on stage on Saturday with his
band after a break of far too many years.

The entertainment does not stop at the stage, other events in the park Include th e gala on Saturday, a colouring
competition, fuirground rides, a dog show <lnd a clown all at times noted in the timetable of this very programme.
