VULNERABILITY
The project challenges the idea of Sustainable Design Projects, through realigning the mis-conception within the general public. Designing a facility that protects the diversity of seeds around the world in a politically, socially and environmentally stable location is the core emphasis, aiming to educate the general public and promote security for future generations. The Agricultural Research and Storage Facility, which is designed to be established within the chalk grounds of Stevs Klint is designed to store duplicates of seeds from seed collections around the globs. Many of these collections are in developing countries, if seeds are lost, e.g. as a result of natural disasters, war or simply lack of resources, the seed collections may be reestablished using seeds from this facility.
