Tax Information The state of Texas has no personal or corporate income tax. In the Central Texas region, Georgetown has one of the lowest combined property tax rates. The combined monthly rate includes utility and total taxes based on the average home value of $278,001. One of the reasons the combined monthly rate is lower than other areas is due to the fact that the city owns its own utility company, allowing it to keep utility rates low.
