Each generation carries these traditions forward, learning from the past and leaving their own mark in the future.
While those are two of the most iconic traditions, our 220-year history also holds many more, both sacred, like Living Rosary, and special, like graduation.
Everyone in the entire school (and we mean everyone – including each of the Sisters) is assigned to either Gold or White Team and we compete all year long for the coveted banner. From fun themes to dazzling costumes, an incredible canned food drive to the epic quiz bowl, the Tigers and Bears are in fierce (yet friendly!) competition every day of the year.
It is difficult to capture the wild excitement and joy of Visitation’s annual Gold-White games (which is why you should come check out one yourself!).
TRADITIONS 9 10
But the fun doesn’t end there - another beloved tradition is Marshmallow Roast, where the classes compete to imagine and produce the most hilarious skit roasting their teachers.
