From looking at how my exhibition will be laid out and the artwork within in will include I am now going to look at Exhibition leaflets and create my own for my Emblematize Exhibition. Looking at different aspects and researching what needs to be included.
The front page of this leaflet for the Tameside museum and gallery service is simple. It doesn’t contain a lot of information. It simply states what the exhibition is for and what museum it. It also contains one simple image and a website link to learn more. The colours used all link together, the leaflet is about an army regiment so the uniform colours are green. So the leaflet itself is also green. With white texts which contrasts very well against the green. As a front page this is very eye catching and doesn’t bombard the reader with lots of information. It gives you the basic information you need. However when you read on you learn more information. The leaflet is very smart and sophisticated which also links back to what the exhibition is about.
The second two pages on the leaflet include the basic information on how to contact the museum and what times the exhibition is on. Along with information about what parking is available. It also include two more images of the work that on show at the exhibition. This gives you another insight in what you would see at the exhibition. The background is also green with white texts so these contest very well together. The titles of the sections are also in bold compared to the smaller texts so its easier to see. The text is very simple so the reader doesn’t have to read Through lots of information to find what they want.
The next three pages of the leaflet include information and facts about what the exhibition includes and a small amount of history behind it. This can give the reader a better insight into the art work and make there views on the work more insightful. The information is laid out in sections. With smaller images to help you link the information to the work. The page also includes information and what the museum does for family's ad the awards it received. Although not much information is given it mores focused on the artworks. The titles for the sections of information are red on a white background which also makes it stand out. This still holds the sophisticated look.
From looking at a exhibition leaflet I will now begin to make my own ready for my museum. I created this using the posters I have already created and using a similar font style using Photoshop's clipping mask tool. Similar to the previous leaflet I looked at I also added information about the paintings and information about the exhibition itself. Including a map and diagrams to help the reader follow the exhibition easily. Whilst also making the exhibition leaflet sophisticated.
