Ranked as the nation’s No. 1 public university for undergraduate teaching, Georgia State is on the move and on the rise. Few universities have come so far, so fast.
There’s a reason The Washington Post calls us “a hotbed of growth and innovation” and more than 46,000 students across six campuses now call us home each year. Like our city, we’re growing and evolving every day.
To keep that momentum going, we keep our standards high, always creating new ways to think about higher education.
By crafting a system that puts you first — your success, your future, your life — we’ve changed the way our students learn, cut the time it takes them to graduate and saved them money along the way. Most important, we’ve proven students from all backgrounds can succeed at the same levels.
What does it mean to do things
? It means, like you, we take chances, and we aren’t afraid of novel, bold ideas.
Here, you’ll be part of a different kind of university where you can stand up, stand out and take charge.
That’s
At Georgia State, you have the ability to unlock a variety of doors that I don’t think you can unlock anywhere else. They are pushing you to succeed because they want you to be the best version of yourself.
